@ Marissa ... It's a different place over there, Interesting and fun but really busy! I loved it and really want to go back! I lived there for almost 3 years.

Hi, I'm Brooke and I live in Ohio. I was just introduced to this site from a friend and one of your designers. I'm very excited to be a part of this.

Welcome ladies! Glad to have you here!

Hi There! My name is Rebecca, I am 27 years old, live in California and have 2 babies-a girl and a boy (both under 6). I actually found this site by accident soon after I started digital scrapbooking (which was a little under a year ago)...before that I had been traditionally scrapbooking for over 11 years. It was a hard change for me but I am slowly getting the hang of it! I love this site and would like to say a HUGE thank you to Marisa and Jordan for creating such a wonderful site! smiley

Welcome Reba! Thanks for stopping by!

Hi to all. My name is Theresa, I have been scrapbooking for about 8 years now and I really enjoy it plus lots of albums, cards hybrids etc. I'm a housewife married for almost 30 years. My twin boys are 26 years old, when they moved out I was heartbroken..my only child (my boys) left home that was 3 years ago. Now with all this free time, I have been starting about 10 different projects every day. No kidding around. I look forward to all your new ideas, etc.

I have a new layout to upload for the January challenge due on the 31st but looks like I don't have enough community points. Oh Well smiley

Hi Theresa... welcome... if you post a few more posts here in the forum or even if you just post thank yous for the assets you download you'll boost your community points and you might even be able to get enough before the 31st... you just need 15 more points and you get two points for each forum post (and I think you get three points for starting a topic so if you have something you want to share feel free) and one point for each asset comment so you should be able to boost your number fairly quickly... We love to encourage folks to participate and it's great that you completed a challenge so I'll keep my fingers crossed that you manage to get enough points in time for it to qualify.

Hello. My name is Elena and I live in Jijona (Spain). I love Scrap and even that not so long ago that I practice I love your website has a lot of inspiration for me.

Hi! My name is Heather, and I am an American living in Belgium. I love to scrap and to design! I am really enjoying DigitalScrapbook.com! The cutie in my profile picture is my daughter Luna, who will be 3 soon!

Hi! I'm Sherri B. and I just discovered your site this morning. I'm a 51-year old empty nester and I've immersed myself in photography and PSE for the past two years. I've fallen in love with digital editing and am now trying to learn how to merge and enhance my own visual art/photos in PSE. The possibilities are so endless and I am soaking up as much knowledge as I can about the whole process. This looks like a wonderful site for learning and I look forward to exploring the forum and tutorials. Thanks in advance for the inspiration I'm sure I'll find here!

My English is very poor. I hope you understand what I write (it is translated with Firefox).

Hello.

My name is Silke, am 47 years old and live with my husband and my (almost adult) daughter, two dogs, a cat and four mice in a small village in Germany.

Before 2 1/2 years I have discovered PSP. For two years now I'm in a PSP school.

I like to tinker with images PSP go, and then I craft sometimes on its own Scrapkit.

I'm just getting started with my "Scrapkunst" and I have a lot to learn.

My second passion is hiking and nature.

I have brought you to match the winter a small image that I made. (I hope it is allowed).

Hi, I hope I am doing this right. My name is Cathy and I have been stamping/scrapping for about 18 years. We are Itinerant Ministers (yep, some people don't like that smiley but that's what we are , We travel all over the U.S. and are going International this year. My wonderful, best in the whole world, best friend and husband and I have been married 20 years. He is sure a keeper and always makes sure we have room in our Ford Explorer for some of my crafting stuff. I have a House Mouse Rubber Stamping list for 13 years and have lots of scrappers on there so will be sharing the goldmine I have found here. We are now in Iowa, in the cold, wet, snowy, place for a few months but our heart is to be and we have been for many years until we were called to this, our hearts are to be back in Arizona. I have 3 children , 7 grandchildren and 1 natural and 1 adopted Great granddaughter. I love making cards and scrapbook pages for them. I never want them to forget how special they are to me. I have one grandson, Matt, who is in Afghanistan as a mine sweep , I wonder why he didn't sign up to be a cook. He just turned 20 years old. I just want him home safe and in one piece. Thank you again for allowing me to join and I am so sorry I rambled on. Hugs, Cathy K

Welcome ladies! Thanks so much for stopping by and saying hi!

@Cathy: Where are you and your husband off to next?

Hello everyone,

I have been looking (maybe lurking a bit I guess) around this blog and site for a while now.
We recently returned to our home - Wellington, New Zealand, after living 4 years in Sydney, Australia and am still trying to sort myself out so I will get back to Digital Scrapping and hopefully some paper scrapping when my stuff is properly unpacked. I started digi just over a year ago and am still learning - mainly to archive our life a bit better. I only really started scrapping seriously after we moved away from family and had to pack down the family home and live in a big city in a 'shoebox' (kidding a little here - we had a lovely older 2 bedder, but NZ'er are used to more space).
I play with a mix of family layouts and art journal these days and look forward to participating here. What I like about digi scrapping is to keeping on learning new things and having a go.

Cheers
Debra

Welcome Debra! Thanks for saying hello!

I have been an elementary teacher for over 21 years now. (Yikes!) We live near the picturesque shores of Lake Michigan, so I love beach and sunset photography. I love to let my creative juices flow through photography and making jewelry. I enjoy the challenge of learning a new craft, so I am just jumping into the Photoshop world. I used to spend hours with my friends at scrapbooking gatherings, when that was all the rage, but that was several years ago. I need to do some catching up since my daughter is almost graduated from college! I am hoping to learn to digiscrap and maybe even learn how to make my own papers and elements!

I'm Holly and I live in the Midwest, USA with my husband, two kids and nine pets. I'm 50 and have more interests than I have hours in each day.

I made traditional scrapbooks for years. Then I discovered the internet and Photoshop. Scrapbooking got put on the back burner as I gleefully explored what I could do with PS and all the toys available for it on-line. I got a new digital camera recently and it finally clicked that I can combine playing around in PS with my family photos and make scrapbooks again! Wheeeeeeeee!

I stumbled upon DigitalScrapbook.com by a serendipitous Google search of some sort, and was immediately intrigued. It's a lovely feel-good concept that I am happy to be a part of, and I am looking forward to getting to know everyone in the community a bit better and seeing the awesome projects y'all are making. I also hope to give back by sharing my PU & CU creations or maybe I can help with PS questions.

Welcome ladies! So glad to have you here!

Hey everyone! I can't believe I just found this site smiley I've been digi scrappn' for about 3 years... and paper scrapped/stamped for about 10 before that. I'm 33 (okay, so I'll be 34 in just a couple of weeks!)... I'm married with 2 step children who are totally amazing. I work as a radiation therapist... and hoping to be a digi kit designer sometime soon. I love taking photographs, but I love designing layouts more! We are super busy with the kid's sports and activities and super involved with our church... glad I'm here!

Hai all... I'm Vanny, from Indonesia smiley I'm 20 YO now, and I do like designing layout, photography, drawing, or painting sometimes (as hobby). I've been working as designer layout (only freelance). But somehow, I thought my skill is stuck - so I must improve my design, I must looking for inspiration, and share the ideas with another designer all around the world. I hope I can learn much from this community. And I also hope, that you can give me advises to increase my skill smiley Thank you very much. Keep in touch and have a nice day smiley

Welcome! I hope you enjoy DigitalScrapbook.com as much as we do smiley

Hi, I'm Andrea. I live in Florida with my husband and 2 kiddos. Right now I am at home with my youngest, but I have taught Chemistry for 10 years and will be returning to that field soon. I am brand new to digital scrapbooking. I love that it is so much less messy than paper scrapping. Right now I'm using GIMP until I decide if it's worth it for me to upgrade to Photoshop.
I love your designs, Marisa, and greatly appreciate your generousity! And I love that you studied Physics!

Hi Everyone! My name is Jodi. I AM one of your long time admirers and am so happy to see the evolution of your site, how exciting! Cannot wait to keep looking around and make new friends!

Hope I'm doing this right. Michelle. married. 1 kid living at home. 2 grown step kids, and a granddaughter.
been paper scrapping since 2000. love the release that paper scrapping gives me, don't love how very time consuming it is, or how much stuff i've accumalated, the mess. recently (as in the last 6 months) started digi scrapping. tried to use shutterfly to make a vacation album and the perfectionist in me couldn't do it. it didn't give me enough freedom or choices. i've made less than a dozen pages. each one tends to be a long process cuz i know what i want, but i don't know how to get it without a lot of research and tutorials online. but the more i use it the more comfortable and quick i will become. anyways, lucked onto this site thru pinterest. am looking forward to exploring it.

Hi, My name is Renee. I am a 24 year old stay at home mom of 2 little girls living in Buffalo NY. Art and design has been a major part of my life since 2001 when I acquired a copy of Jasc's Paint Shop Pro 7 on accident. I taught myself how to use the program on a crappy (but reliable and very well used) HP Pavillion from 2000 that ran windows ME, that I only just upgraded last year! That computer got major usage! So now I am in the process of starting up my own business doing graphics and paintings. I love using vectors in PSPx4. I used to be a brush person but I rarely use them anymore. Mostly in part of not being able to find quality ones. Anyways, I ramble on and on. That's me.

Welcome ladies! Thanks so much for saying hello! Great to have you here.

Hi, I am Dorothy. I live in Preston, Lancashire, England, a retired Medical Secretary and doting grandmother of 5 wonderful grandchildren. I started digital scrapbooking shortly after I retired. I needed an interest as my husband was still working at the time and I had time on my hands. I attended a digital scrapbooking course at the local university and became hooked. I have followed your site for a couple of years and enjoy it very much, especially the tutorials.
Thanks for a great site.

Hi! My name is Heather. I'm 25, married, 3 dogs, & living in a tiny town with a political science degree so I'm just a housewife/substitute teacher for the time being. I started scrapbooking with my mom and sometimes with a group of ladies in 2002. I started digi-scrapping on and off in 2009. Excited to have stumbled on your site. smiley

Welcome ladies! Thanks for saying hello.
