Welcome everyone! Thanks for saying hello!

Hello! What a beautiful group this is!

I'm Rebekah, (just turned 29), and I'm happy to call myself a Virginian (USA). I've been married for almost 3 years and my husband and I have one little boy (Callan) who just turned a year old, and we're expecting another boy (Charlie) any day now!

I started out as a paper scrapper when I was a teenager, scrapping family photos and missions trips. Eventually the pulling out and putting away of all the supplies got to me, along with the cost of supplies, and the not being able to unglue and re-write when I didn't like where I'd stuck something or how my handwriting looked, so I stopped. A few months ago I stumbled upon digital scrapbooking and decided about a month ago that I should give it a try. My husband now sweetly calls me an addict. smiley

I scrap entirely in Photoshop CS2 (yes, CS2). Once I've been doing this a little longer, I'd like to try my hand at designing as well, since I already do a little bit of graphic design.

Other than scrapping, I love dance (I've been a dance instructor for about 12 years), cooking, photography, reading, writing, and my boys.

Welcome Rebekah! Thanks for saying hello. So glad you stopped here on your digi journey!

Hello everyone, my name is Jody and I live in a small country town in Kansas. I've been mostly a lurker here for a long time but I have more time now so thought it was time to get more involved. I've been paper scrapping/crafting ever since I can remember and started digi-scrapping in 2007 and designing in 2008 as Munchkyn Scraps. I took a long break from Jan 2011 til August of last year and I decided I wanted a fresh start so I changed my design name to Jody_M Designs.
Between hubby and myself, we have 9 adult kids, 23 grandkids and 8 great-grandbabies with one more due in August. As you can imagine, family get togethers are chaotic but also lots of fun and always bring plenty of scrapping/design inspiration. I keep a folder of kit ideas and have enough to keep me busy all year, lol.
I'm really looking forward to getting to know everyone here smiley

Happy Scrapping
Jody smiley

I cannot believe that I haven't ever introduced myself! CRAZY.
I'm Carla and I live in Lakeville, MN. I'm 53 and been married to Freddy for 32 years...........YESTERDAY!!! We have two daughters; Lacy-23, and USMC LCpl Anne-20. They have Blessed us with two grandchildren; Kolten-3 (Lacy) and Caddie-6 mos (Anne). My profile describes me as a MOTO-Marine Mom, KIA-driving, book-reading, music-collecting, computer-surfing, wine-drinking, photo-snappin', SCRAPBOOKING DIVA! Crazy!
Oh yeah, I tend to be sarcastic.........
And my occupation doesn't even begin to describe what I do............SPED Para, MA Billing Specialist, AT Specialist, MTAS Admin.
I've been scrapbooking for 40 years. Yes! I began scrapbooking when I was about 10, like Marisa, with paper, glue and scissors. (and yes, they still exist.....somewhat yellowed, but here) I cut out accents from magazines and journaled completely by hand. What did we know from stickers!!! I sold for Stampin' Up! for several years and re-began scrapbooking via stamping, with 8.5x11 pages, in simple page protectors and binder albums. I started digi scrapping about two years ago and again, like Marisa, thought, "What, you mean I can MAKE paper, in ANY color, with ANY pattern, and keep AS MUCH OF IT AS I WANT with me WHEREVER I AM?" I was hooked and still am. I've designed almost exclusively for myself, but just branched out with PS's Pond Life Blog Train, designing for others.
I am SO excited to be here!

Welcome everyone! Thanks for saying hello!

Hi, My name is Denise Turk. I live in Temperance Michigan and work at the University of Toledo. I am a beginner at digital scrapbooking, but I am amazed at everyone's talent, willing to share, and give tutorials. I have 2 children and 2 grandchildren so I find this much easier to TRY to get caught up than paper scrapbooking. Again, thanks for all your amazing shares and information!

Welcome Denise!

Hi, I'm Penny and I live in Missouri. I started paper scrapbooking about 18 years ago, and like some others I've seen post here, I was a little... um... snobbish... about digital scrapbooking. Then I joined Delphi forums about 10 years ago (maybe more, I've lost track of time) and started playing with PaintShop Pro, version 5. I learned a lot about "tagging" and licensing, and started buying WAY too many licensed tubes for making tags. I've since moved on to digital scrapbooking, created a few little fun taggers kits with some friends as a challenge for ourselves, and I've become addicted to digital scrap kits. I can't even guess how many I've bought or snagged over the past several years.

I have surfed this site several times, and finally decided it was time to become a member. I don't know how much time I'll have to devote to the site, but I'm very happy to be here. Thanks, Marisa, for creating such a fun place. smiley

Hi all. I came across this wonderful site about a week ago when doing a project for my work - It is absolutely amazing. Thank you to one and all for all the wonderful stuff available. Bless you all. smiley smiley

Welcome everyone! Thanks for saying hello!

Hi, my name is Cheryl, and I'm a scrapaholic (that's how we do, here, right? like AA?) smiley

I live in the Dallas Metroplex area. Have scrapbooked for years, but recently took up digital scrapbooking. Though I miss the tactility of the papers and elements, I DON'T miss hauling around all my stuff from crop to crop! I realized with digi, I can create work faster, haul less stuff, and save more money (as I can use products multiple times). I still have plenty of "hard" paper and elements that I employ for mixed media art, but am happy with this new way of doing things. I'm always interested in meeting other digi scrappers in the area. Feel free to hit me up if you're in my neighborhood area (Frisco)! smiley

Welcome Cheryl! Thanks for saying hello.

Hi! My name is Brandi. I live in a super small town in Montana, very near Yellowstone. I have 2 daughters, 19 and 17 and have been married to my high school sweetheart for 20 years. We keep a small herd of cats and 2 dogs smiley Living where we do we also see deer, elk, moose nearly every day and the birding here is fabulous!

I love reading, gardening(flowers), scrapping digitally and paper, music, birding and critter watching and have been researching our family history for 15 years.

Hello I though I better introduce myself smiley
My name is Sika, I'm 22 years old and live in Denmark.
I love everything crafty and creative. I'm a full time student, so haven't had a lot of spare time for crafting, but what ever little there is, gets put into "craft-time". I love taking pictures, and have tried out the classic way of scrapbooking, but simply found it to be too space consuming, so found photo sites where one can order photo-books instead of prints, and there I started digital scrapbooking, without knowing it was actually a real thing! I started researching and found this site - which is utterly amazing!. My current project is a digital photo-/scrapbook, covering the two years my BFF and I have been taking our exams.

I have previously made a digital photo-/scrapbook of my BF's and I's trip to Prague and London, where I incorporated diary entries and thus made it into a kind of scrap-diary.

I look forward to sharing my own ideas, and layouts with you all smiley

I just found this wonderful community and am in the process of figuring out everything. I am a digiscrap addict. I love to scan photos, download my family's FB shares, make layouts and share them online. I print them as well. I use PSE and enjoy all tutorials and trying as many techniques as possible. Am always to try out new techniques. I love to create. Am in the middle of moving to Georgia, so will be disconnected from internet some of this month! But I look forward to being a part of the group.

Welcome everyone! Thanks for saying hello!

Wow! So many people to say hello to! Welcome!!

Hi, I am Katey (prefer KT but it won't let me use that as a name!) I have been lurking on the site since it was redesigned and think it is great. I am English but have lived in France for 11 years with my now handicapped partner and 2 sons who are 21 and 17. I have been digi scrapping since 2006 and designing since 2008. I used to work as a relocator for non French speakers, but since my partner was bed bound in 2009, I have had to stay home most of the day, so I turned to digi design full time as much to keep me occupied (and sane living with someone in constant pain) as to earn a little money.

I have traveled (not as much as Marisa), and lived in Australia for 4 years as a teenager and traveled over the States extensively in my married days before children. Visited many countries including Tahiti, Spain, The Azores, New Zealand, (when I was a teenager returning from Australia, so memories are hazy!) Italy and Switzerland.

Love the friendly atmosphere here and hope to join in more now one son is off at university and has his little car, so my taxi duties have eased up!

Hi, I'm Janelle. I'm Australian, grew up in Colombia, Sth America and am currently living in Saudi Arabia with my husband and two boys, aged 15 and 7.
I started digiscrapping about 6 years ago, using PaintShop Pro, then a couple of years ago my husband bought me Photoshop CS3 and I decided I needed to learn to use it. However before I could become familiar with it we moved to Saudi Arabia. I no longer had my scrapping friends around and instead I got involved in quilting, and scrapbooking started to slide. It was just too hard - since I wasn't familiar with Photoshop I couldn't whip up quick layouts any more. BUT, I really want to get back into it, and have started to browse scrapping sites again, looking for inspiration, which is how I found DigitalScrapbook.com!
I'm hoping to do some tutorials on Photoshop over the summer so I can at least do some basic layouts without getting frustrated! And I need someone to design a desert kit with camels and sand dunes and date palms and mosques... hint, hint!

Welcome everybody! I hope you have fun!

@Janelle: I´ve seen a desert kit with camels later, don´t remember where... Maybe Marisa has already finished designing her Egypt kit?

Hi! I am Gingie smiley Just wanted to stop by and say hey! I am here!!!!

Hi! Welocme to everyone! Thank you for saing hello!

Welcome everyone!

Hello Ladies! My name is April and I'm a stay at home, homeschooling, scrapbooking, mother of 5 amazing children. They are 9, 7, 5, 4, 3. 2 girls and 3 boys. They are usually the stars of my layouts, so if you see me posting layouts you will most likely see one or more of their faces.

I am semi new to digital scrapbooking, but have been paper scrapping since my oldest was just a few months old. I've been quickly learning and teaching myself how to use photoshop and having a blast. I am finding that I have more fun creating my own elements and papers to use, so I'm trying to become a designer. I am eager to learn, so if anyone has any pointers for me, I'd love to hear them!

I'm currently on 2 creative teams. I love the people I play with, and learn something new every day.

Hope to get to know you all soon!!

Wow April, you did it like my Mom - six kids in eight years! Anyway, if you look up Scraps N Pieces they have a design mentoring class once a year. Lorien and I just took it and was well worth it for designing. You might want to put it on your calendar for next March/April. Ours started at the beginning of April and ended in May - 6 weeks long. Welcome to Pixelscrapper...it is a great place to be!

Hi - I'm Cris from Ohio. I have a 14-year-old daughter and love to travel. I switched to digital scrapbooking once I realized that I had made 40+ Creative Memories albums by the time my daughter was 10! At least with digital scrapbooks, they aren't as thick and heavy when they are done. I love taking pictures and manipulating them with Photoshop, MyMemories, and iScrapbook depending on how much time I have. I like to use my own pictures as backgrounds and enhancements. Here is my latest layout. I started with a template from Digital Scrapbook Experts and the rest are pictures and shapes I made. Hope you like it.
