Hi I'm Diane, and I live in Colorado Springs. I'm a 50 something mom to two cats named Laptop, and Tigger. I have been Letter Carrier with the US Postal Service for 35 years and looking forward to retiring in a few more years. I don't actually scrapbook but I enjoy learning how to use Photoshop and found the tutorials here to be a great help. I do like to make cards, so those are almost like a mini scrapbook page with out a picture. I recently started to create my own background papers, as I could never seem to find exactly what I wanted, so figured making my own would be the way to go. I just wish I had more time to spend working with Photoshop and learning more of what I can do with that program. I look forward to spending more time here at PixelScrapper and getting to know more of you.

So many new faces! Thanks everyone for saying hello!

Hi All! My name is Deb and I live in Portland, Oregon. I have been scrapbooking since 2000. I started digital scrapbooking about 6 years ago, as did my husband. We both had digital layouts published in a scrapping magazine years ago and then I let that hobby fall along the wayside as I became more and more busy at home and work. I am baaaaaack!! My other favorite hobbies include genealogy, reading, hiking and traveling. We just got back from our dream trip to Scandinavia.

Welcome ladies, you all are going to love it here! ^_^

Hello - I'm Courtney and truthfully, I can't remember if I've done this already. smiley I live in Texas with my husband and three children. I work full-time outside the home, so scrapbooking needs to be easy, no mess, no fuss. I've recently lost 60 pounds with another 20-30 to go. I love sharing stories and learning from others! I'm a GIMP girl, so I love to see tutorials on how to use it more efffectively!

Hello all...I haven't participated much to date as the family owns a cotton gin and until this week, I've been working 12 hour days, 7 days a week, but we are almost through. I was a craft/needlework designer for many years and then discovered that I had a talent for creating OOAK dolls and did that for the last 10 years or so. An accident with an electric tree trimmer last fall put an end to my ability to paint and sew in miniature so I was in creative limbo for a few months until I discovered digital scrapbooking in June/July and fell in love. I'm a designer at heart and enjoy learning new skills so I knew I'd get to the designer stage sooner or later. Haven't had as much time as I'd hope for it though lately as the cotton gin has been in full go mode, but almost through and hope to have more time creating. THank you for having me.

Hi There,

I'm Kari - and I have been playing with scraps for years for the e'mail tags and stats communities. I just happened on your site today and fell in love with it! I think it is going to be a lot of fun and a great source for inspiration for me! I'm not used to working in full size, so this will be a wonderful new experience for me!

So many wonderful new faces! Thanks everyone for saying hello!

Greetings Everyone!

I am happy to be here--->apart of a virtual and innovative community that focuses on the wonderful word of digital designs. Designs that have a wide range of uses such as scrapbooking as well as making posters, flyers, menus, brochures, and so forth. Personally, I mostly use the items for scrapbooking. I am in my late 20's, no children, I am the youngest of my siblings, my favorite color is brown. I have always enjoyed scrapbooking because it is a way to present my creations in a professional and personal fashion. I appreciate the artists that are willing to allow a person, such as myself an opportunity to implement their work in my creative interests. Thanks again:)

Hello, my name is Selavyera Makodompis. Well, to be honest I think I am the youngest person here, so please pardon for my mistakes, Ladies and Gentlemen. I am 17 years old, I live in Bekasi, Indonesia (part of ASEAN for your information, in case you didn't know that place) and still in high school.
I'm kind of a new person in this design community because before, I was a tumblr editor.
Well, currently I also deviantart editor that keeps me busy with my own things.
And nice to meet you smiley

Welcome everybody! Enjoy the fun!

I have no idea if I have introduced myself but if not. Hello, My name is Astrid and I live in Honduras. I love paper crafting, recycling crafts and kids crafts.

By the way great site!

Hi my name is Uniq. I am from Taiwan. I begin to do scrapbooking since I went to the US during my international exchange student years when I was a high school student. I immediately realized that it is truly a meaningful and creative activity to do the first time I saw the scrapbook made from my host family. There's no scrapbook stores in Taiwan, so I print materials I need basically. Glad I find myself this fabulous website yesterday, so happy to see this. I love pixel scrapper.

Welcome! Thanks for saying hello!

Hi... I don't think I've intro'd yet. I'm Amanda but my family calls me "Mandy." Feel free to call me whichever flows best for you. I'm not that picky about it. I'm a whopping 35 last month! Married and mom to 3 kiddos - 15 girl, 10 boy and 4 girl. Plus, we are raising our niece who is also 4 years old. Her and my youngest are like twins who love each other to death one minute and despise each other the next. Our family life is definitely an adventure!

Born & raised in Southern CA, made a cross country move to WV 5 years ago and from there to OH where we've been for the past year. I personally love moving around and living in new places, but the kids not so much. We are settled here for now. I work from home doing accounting for the same company I worked for when I lived in CA.

I have ZERO scrapbooking experience except what I've learned in the last two months. I have tons and tons of digital images since photography has been a major hobby for a while. They've all just sat on hard drives though - minus what I share online. Hoping to put them to use on some pages soon. I love this site and all the tutorials, materials, and the feeling of community that is present here. Played with my first couple layouts this week and I can definitely see where the addiction comes from.

Nice to meet you all. smiley

HIYA from Lakewood WASHINGTON (state)! smiley

So glad to be a part of this forum for a few reasons actually: I love the streamlined views. Many sites (nameless of course) are too fussy, tiny, & gray, plus I have to squint to see any of the posts! But wow...this one is GORGEOUS! Clean, crisp, easy to read. Not to mention, reason number two: lots of downloads. I am not sure how I will like the generating points but I am willing to take a look at it...

Everyone seems very friendly and I look forward to checkin in with ya'all!

Stacy--The HAPPY SCRAPPER

welcome everyone! enjoy yourselves smiley

Hello

My name is Amber and I'm from Alberta, Canada. I started digital scrapbooking about 4 years ago. Sometimes life gets busy and I step away for a bit but always love to get back into it when I have the time!

Hubby and I love cooking, wine, travelling, camping, snowboarding and anything that has to do with being outside. We are set to become first time parents December 2013 and are so excited smiley

Hi, my name is Carole and I'm from the UK. I mostly make cards at the moment but hope one day to start scrapping if, and when, I ever get the time. Love the site, some very talented people here.

Welcome everyone, I hope you have a good time here, it's a great place.

@ Amber We're looking forward to see pictures of your little cutie, and wishing you all the very best with the safe arrival of your new baby!

Welcome everyone, enjoy the fun! smiley

Hi love this site, and all the great stuff. smiley smiley

Hi my name is stacy

Hi Everyone,
My name is Julie, and I am a freelance editor, writer, photographer and emerging graphic designer who lives in the beautiful state of Montana. I started digital scrapbooking about 6 years ago, doing a book of my oldest daughter's senior project for her (about falconry). Maybe you'll see a page or two from that book when I begin to upload some pages. I learn something every time I do a book, and I'm sure that is true for many of you. I love looking at all your beautiful designs--so many talented folks in this community! Thank you Marisa for a great idea with this Web site--communal scrapbooking, I like to call it... Gotta love it. smiley

Welcome ladies! Glad that you introduced yourselves smiley

Hello, my name is Tricia. Online I go by ptktj, the first initials of everyone in my family. I design freebies as Desert Digi-Scrap. I am married, have 3 boys, and live in Arizona. Looking forward to getting to know you!

Hi there! My name is Misty, I am 32 years old. I have two little boys, Bode who is 7 and Tripp who is 2. They keep me hopping! I work FT as a registered nurse. I have paper scrapped for years, but this year my mom bought me the Creative Memories SBC software, I finally installed it in August and was nearly instantly hooked! I am loving the digital scrapbooking! The only problem now is that I am filling up my computer memory too fast! Thanks for all your work with the site here and all the great freebies!

Hello! I'm Julie, and currently I live in Baltimore, Maryland. I met my husband (Phil) in Utah, where we both worked. When we got pregnant with our first kid, we wanted me to be a SAHM, so Phil joined the military. We have since lived in CA, MS, FL, KY, and now MD. We now have two boys and a girl, and my sister (who is mentally handicapped) Lisa. I hate housework. HATE it. LOL I would much rather be doing just about anything else. But I LOVE fixing things up. Right now we're removing all the carpet in the house, and restoring the hardwood that has been covered for (apparently) decades! If I had one wish, it would be for someone to come and help me de-clutter and organize my house. smiley It's hard having 6 people in a townhouse! smiley
I've been a digi-scrapper since about 2005, but I didn't do any scrapping at all for about three years. I have Chronic Fatigue, and some days it's a miracle just to have the energy to help my kids with their homework or drive them to their activities. Most days are good, though, and some days are GREAT! That's usually when I clean the house, or work on organizing all our stuff. LOL

Welcome Tricia!

Hi.
I'm Karen and I've been living in Colorado the past 13 years, married 33 years with two grown kids. The kids for us now are our two beloved Golden Retrievers. My biggest love is teaching Precept Bible studies and I am also an avid gardener, but have to fight off the deer, vole and rabbits in order to see anything! (At least the bears and cayotes leave the plants alone.) I love the versatility of the digi world. I don't remember how I stumbled on your site, but it is a real gem. I mainly work in Photoshop Elements, but I use Make the Cut and Silhouette Studio to make cutting files that I use with digital papers. Thanks for such a great site with so many wonderful supplies and ideas.
