Hi, I am Janice from British Columbia, Canada. My sister, Cheryl introduced me to this site. I am slowly finding my way around. I am recently retired and my husband & I have been doing a lot of traveling. I did traditional scrapbooking for years & have been digiscrapping for the last 3 or 4 years. I started by using Creative Memories, but have been branching out since they let us digital scrappers down. I am currently working on a book of our 3 week Maui vacation from earlier this year. I love photography and am learning Lightroom & Photoshop. I am also learning to play the harp. I am looking forward to getting more involved with this site.

Hi, My name is Carolyn Bodkin. I have been a digital scrapbooker for about 8 years now and a paper scrapbooker for decades before that. Like most of you probably, I take a long time making some pages and whip out others in minutes. The most important part of my pages is the journaling because I'm more of a writer than a photographer. In fact, if I get one decent photo, I'm pretty happy. Even if I don't get a decent photo, I often use it and let the story be the strength of the page. I just read the site's Manifesto and I was kind of sappy and happy about it all at the same time. I love the heart of generous creativity of it and hope I experience the same thing in the community, which I'm sure I will. I use Panstoria's Artisan to make pages. It meets my needs perfectly. I was a founding team member of pixels2Pages but left the team about a year ago because I was just too busy. Now that I'm not working anymore, I have rediscovered the joy of making pages rather than making them for an assignment or a blog post and I have gotten back to the pleasure that comes from making art. Thank you, everyone, for this site. I look forward to getting to know you better.

Hey, my name is Lisa. I was born in Niagara Falls, but have lived in Texas just about all my life. I have two grown sons, one grandson, as well as a (former) stepdaughter with a daughter. I met my husband in a chatroom and we've been happily married for going on 16 years. I haven't scrapbooked a day in my life, digital or paper, but I love making graphics and have had a few websites over the years. When scrapbooking became the rage, I adored the graphics, but never got into making them. The sizes alone were huge compared to what I did and I could never find anywhere to learn about proportioning the elements to the papers, etc. So, I finally decided to check out some sites and settled on this one. Looking forward to getting to know everyone and learning how to create again!

Hi everyone smiley , I thought I did my introduction yesterday but it has apparently gotten lost in cyberspace (unless I posted it somewhere else on the site smiley ...still navigating my way around here) I have been digiscrapping for about 8 years and my aim is to produce pages that look like genuine paper scrapped LOs. My main targets for scrapping are my grands, I love to document their day to day activities and a LO is not complete without a story or description. I use PSCS5 having arrived there from PSP7 (which I loved but found much fewer resources, tutorials etc out there in cyber world for that programme so switched to Photoshop and now I love that!) I am not happy looking at photos of myself so I have uploaded a flower avi (I think smiley ). thank you for the freebies...I am having a lot of fun browsing the assets section, the gallery and the tutorials!!

Welcome everyone! Thanks for saying hello!

Hi- My name is MarjAnn and I live in Utah. I've only been on DigitalScrapbook.com a few months but I love it! I wouldn't call myself an avid scrapbooker, but when I do dabble, I love to pick and choose what I want to download. Thanks for making that possible!

Hi
My name is Debra but i prefer Debbie, I am 54 years old and live in Australia, I design under the name of MeOhMy Graphics I love learning new things and playing around in photo shop I probably waste more time making something and then trashing it. Thank you for letting me into your community I am sure I will enjoy being a part of it

Welcome! Thanks for saying hello!

Hi Everyone! Just found this site from Granny Enchanted and absolutely love it! My name is Joanna and I am from southwest, Pennsylvania. I am a happily married newlywed. I have 3 amazing grown children, one of them my angel now in heaven. I miss her so much. I love scrapping & photography & have made personalized stationary items on eBay & Etsy. I love anything & everything to do with crafting, especially primitive things! I am addicted to Pinterest. Have a great day!

Welcome Joanna!

Hi everyone! My name is Stephanie, I am from Michigan and will be 28 this year (where has the time gone?)! I have always been a traditional paper scrapper, but have started venturing into the digital world this past year. I like many aspects but sometimes I miss my paper. I have been doing a little hybrid which makes it easier, but I am still looking for my "nack" I have 2 children so finding the same time to scrapbook is the hard part smiley

Hi all, I was born and raised in Maine. I'm on the sunny side of old and like learning new things. I have been a paper crafter for years and even taught it for awhile. Learning digital scrapbooking is a new adventure for me.

Welcome! Thanks for stopping by!

Hi! I'm Ghislaine. I've been scrapping digitally for about 5 years now but just completed my first paper album with the Project Life system. That album covered a month long trip to Europe to visit family, friends and old haunts from when I lived there.

Now I'm a stay-at-home-mom in Vermont with a husband, two girls, 10 quail, 7 ducks, 3 guineas, and a forest full of wildlife!

Hi, I am Kim, I am new to digital Scrapping and this is a GREAT place to start! I have been paper crafting for some years now, and this is a great new "extension" to that. I especially love being able to make my own papers, embellishments. I am loving learning all about it, there is so much more to it than I ever imagines!
I also love card making, so I am doing my own designs now too!

Hi. I'm Sarah from the hilltowns of western Massachusetts. I'll be 55 next week which surprises me no end as I sure don't feel "old" (that's my inner teen talking!). I love gardening, mostly perennials, though I'm in the middle of creating a rather large vegetable garden, too. I live in a very small (there is ONE closet smiley ), very old (1760s) house in the center of a town of 2400 where I can walk to everything from a market to my doctor's office - very Mayberry! - but we can also get to Boston & NYC quickly & easily so it's the best of both rural & urban worlds! I love traveling & feel most at home in Maine, NYC, & England & Scotland.

When I scrap, I tend to make old-fashioned style scrapboooks, ones filled almost entirely with photos & occasional bits of ephemera that add to the story. The photos & the stories are the most important thing in my books so other than titles & a few punched shapes if there is room (a giant spider on Halloween, a tree on Christmas, a bunch of balloons for birthdays, that sort of thing) I don't add any embellishments at all (I want room for all those photos!).

I love paper scrapping but am hybrid in that I do my journalling & captions on the computer rather than handwriting them (I have great handwriting but the stress I put on myself to be perfect makes it no fun at all for me to write in scrapbooks). I'm afraid I will probably never do much digital scrapping as I most of my work life is spent on a computer (I do research for a non-fiction author as well as freelance layout & design for friends & local companies) so when I'm done working, I really need the break from the screen - & there's something about working with my hands that I find incredibly relaxing. Because of this, I feel rather as though I shouldn't be here but I just am so in love with the beautiful work all of you do that I needed to join. I hope a mostly paper scrapper isn't too out of line here! smiley Having said that, I do a lot of digital creating for myself (filler cards, vision boards, things like that) & love having the option of digital papers & fun alphas & even sometimes embellishments to play with. I am so incredibly grateful to (& in awe of) everyone who makes such lovely items & shares them with everyone here. Thank you!

PS My photo is my passport photo my husband felt compelled to digitally Warhol for some reason. Artists... smiley

PPS I've been married for 22 years to my best friend, whom I'd know for exactly 15 years (to the day) we got married (so we have known each other for 37 years, since I was 18 & he was 19). We have no kids (by choice) but have twin 8yo nephews & a 6yo niece who live around the corner & spend almost as much time with us as if they were ours. I adore them! We also have 4 cats plus my brother & his cat living with us. Life is never dull!!

PPPS As I noted in my "about me" in my profile, I am absolutely incapable of writing short responses to anything - so my apologies for making you wade through all this!!

Hi everyone, My name is Kathleen and I live in Cincinnati Ohio. I have been married almost 30 and have three almost grown children. I also have three chihuahuas. I was a traditional paper scrapper from years back...I think I started around 1994. Anybody remember the days of stickers? Or when acid free paper was a new thing? I also like to make hybrid greeting cards. I just recently (in the lat year) began digi scrapping. I think the site is awesome. Love all the ideas I am getting. Thanks for letting me participate.

Welcome everyone! Thanks for saying hello!

Hi, My name is Megan - aka Meg Scott Studio and Made by Me Inspirations. I found this lovely site a while ago but with everything going - getting married, filing for disability, buying a house and just focusing on my own designing, I spaced on this awesome site. I was recently re-introduce to the site just a couple of weeks ago when one of the designers over at The Digi Express train (a blog train that I run) created a kit with some clear pockets in it and I just loved them - asked her how she made them and she said she got them from here, so I immediately dived in and fell in love.

I have been following your trains for some time now and just enjoy the fun kits everyone creates. I started scrapbooking back in 2005 when I took my first scrapbooking class in Vegas. I never did anything for myself and just started making mini albums and they started to sell. Now for the digi world, I started making signature tags back in 2001 when I was in the last month of my pregnancy with my youngest daughter and used to have my own group on yahoo, used to enter challenges and races and had a blast. When I started designing back in April 2012, I had actually been designing for a year before on my own and entering contests and just learning my heart out. I love it and find creating 12x12 digi layouts a lot easier than paper. I am still learning and things are always changing and I love it.

My work under Made by Me Inspirations:

My work under my new name:

My work with The Digi Express:

I have been one of those hanging around for awhile but being more of a watcher then actively participating. I'm trying to change that and get more involved. And I want to start uploading layouts!

I'm Shelley, and I have been a paper scrapbook/crafter since my college days, when one of my best friends introduced it to me (her mom ran a scrapbooking store). I resisted going digi thinking it could not be as good as the real thing right? Well I finally got tired of hauling out all my stuff just to make a little and have to put it all away to keep the little ones out of it. So I took the plunge with a great deal on PSE 9 and haven't looked back. I can't believe I waited so long. I love it!

Just this year I started dabbling in designing and joined my first blog train with my first design in February here at DigitalScrapbook.com. I had no idea I would like designing so much. I have been contributing a small part to each blog train since. Now I just have to try and manage my time to fit in everything I want to do with everything I need to do!

Fun fact about me: 6 weeks after I met my husband we were engaged and 6 weeks after that we were married. It's now 12 years later, we have been blessed with 3 beautiful children, and hope to add one more at some point.

Thanks for a great site (especially love the tutorials) and community of scrappers and designers.

Welcome! Thanks for saying hello!

Hello all! I am a 32 year old, stay at home mom of a crazy, awesome, and creative 10 year old young lady plus a fun, playful, squishable 1&1/2 year old bundle of boy. I left the work force due to pregnancy complications with my son in addition to my husband being stationed here in Twentynine Palms at the Marine Corps (MCAGCC) base in the boonies of California. I'd been with the same company for 9 years, however, due the closest location being an hour away, we decided it was best for me to stay home for the time being.
I've recently gotten into crafting, I like to dip my digits in a bit of everything with paper being my main medium. I'd like to learn the ways of the digital world of creating! I received a Silhouette Portrait as a Valentine gift this past February, this site offers a plethora of designs I'll be able to incorporate into my numerous crafting exploits. Thank you all for sharing your beautiful creations with the world! I appreciate it very much!

yay managed to get a external hardrive and now save all kits and work onto it after i download them, love all the kits but got to be brave and only have a few lol

Hi I'm Ashlea and I'm the director of a childcare centre in Sydney Australia. Although I don't make Scrapbooks I do make portfolios for the children at the centre which are basically scrapbooks that also contain information about their education and development. As I have to make so many it has become a little too time consuming to create my own digital resources all the time and with each one being completely different from the next you guys have saved me by making finding that perfect little object, paper or frame that much easier to find. THANK YOU!!!! You're BRILLIANT!!!

Hello my name is Aglahe
I'm from México and i love so much the scrapbook.
I have a son and a wonderful husband, I love them both.
I am a housewife and my hobby is to make frames for photos of my family and friends. smiley

My name is Helene and I'm new to the site. I have been scrapbooking for about 16 years, 8 paper, and 8 digital. I was creating my titles and doing my journaling on the computer even for my paper scrapbooks. I just got my P52 2013 book from the printers last week. It is so much nicer than the thick paper books I used to make.
I'm happy to be here and hope to get to know many of you in the forums and the gallery.
I have not tried much in the way of designing, and am not sure of how much I will do. I hope to be able to learn to make a few of my own elements and papers to share on Blog Trains.
I am a retired former Medical Lab Manager. I have been married to my hubby for 49 years. He supports my scrapbooking passion, and for that I'm grateful. We have 2 married children and 3 grandchildren. We love to travel as a family, and I create the photo for everybody.

So many newbies lately!! Here's a big giant Welcome for me to y'all!!! smiley

Hi! My name is Anne. I live in California. I dabble in digital scrapbooking. I started out with paper scrapbooking, but I would put my layout together, glue everything down, then the next day I would look at and wish I had done it differently. With digital scrapbooking I do the same thing, but the next day I can re-do it with no problems. I also love looking at the beautiful artwork and layouts of so many talented people.
