Hi there! I've been searching for a new scrapbooking community to participate in since Two Peas closed. I think I've found the one! smiley I've been digital scrapbooking since 2008 when I created my third daughter's baby book. #1 and #2 were done with paper. Since then, I've created yearly family albums. Poor #4 hasn't gotten his baby book yet and he's almost 2! I'm a busy mom and several years behind! 2012 is almost done, I hope to post some layouts soon. I am self taught in Photoshop and like to design my own elements and paper and supplement with other designers' items. I love the versatility of digital. The sky is the the limit to the the design potential. I can mimic paper scrapping or digitize my layout to my heart's content. I often take days or weeks on one layout (no wonder I'm behind) while I wait for the perfect inspiration.

My name is Anna Wright. I am a full-time non-traditional grad student, wife, and mother. I waited until my children were older to older to go back to school. Now I am on my way to a doctorate and hoping to do study in a couple of Irish archives. I have two areas of academic focus and they are writing poetry and the study of Irish fairy lore (both in a historical context and modern day usages). For money I work part-time at the University where I am getting my masters and sell Jamberry nails. I like Jamberry, because it is super portable and I will be able to take that business with me, since it is time to shop for doctoral programs.

Welcome everyone! Thanks for saying hello!

Hello... I am Jeff. I am enjoying learning about this new website that I have stumbled across... I normally don't sign up for things, and input my personal information, but quite excited to get involved here... I have been scrapbooking for ten years, when I met my wife... I self-learned photoshop, and made my own digital scrapbooking, from scrap, using my own pictures... Then, I found that there were digital scrapbooking items out there, and learned more and more as the years have gone by... I make our annual family photoalbum each year (about 150 layouts each year of our family for the year)... I have done family reunion albums, weddings, and more - all pro-bono, for fun... I'm excited to see all the talent that is overflowing in this website, and to throw in some of my own talent.

Hi all, Hi Marisa! You can call me Fiqih. I live in Jakarta, the biggest city in Indonesia. I am so glad that I found your web site and sorry, too late for me to introduce myself. I am full time worker, full time student (I am currently studying management at University of Indonesia), and part time being scrapbook designer & party planner. So busy right? haha. I loved creating things, scrapboking, I love to use watercolor for my Illustrations, vintage enthusiast, and I am an autodidact learner in design. So Thanks Marisa, I really appreciate all your hard work! smiley and This website is a good way to make new friends that have the same interest as me, all over the world.

Welcome Geovanna, Jeff, and Fiqih!!! So glad to have each of you and that you found our little home on the web. I personally look forward to watching each of you grow in your digital works and seeing layouts that you are willing to share over time. smiley

@Jeff: I'm totally impressed!! 150 layouts a year!!! wow! Glad you felt comfortable to share with us here. I can't remember his designer name exactly "something Aaron" but he is/was a designer that did all the scrapbooking for his family too. I think he and his wife had two daughters... Any who... I haven't seen him around the net the last year or so, If I find him I'll share. But my hubby does a lot of creative stuff... painting, drawing, mixed media, music, a few instruments... so I always love to see men comfortable embracing their gifts & talents. smiley

Hi, my name is Lisa and am slowly getting the hang of this site - so different from all the rest and so NICE! I've found so many great tips and treasures here! Love that! It is great to find a place with so many "helps" and ways to get people started in digi-scrapping while still catering to those that have been obsessed for some time now! LOL!

I began paper scrapping before it was popular and quickly switched to digital once the quality met my high standards. I do the yearbook for my daughter's elementary school, am on several CTs, have been admin at a few sites and design as well. I was a secondary teacher for many years before my daughter came along, but now I enjoy working from home and being available to really make an amazing yearbook different from ANYTHING else! smiley

Shawna - I wonder if you are talking about "Sir Scrap a lot"...or however he said it. He was on a CT with me for a while, but I haven't seen him in some time now. smiley He did some pretty amazing layouts!

Hi my name is Natasha, I am a mum of 2 boys from Australia. I have been a paper scrapper since forever, and started digiscrap about a year ago and I love it. I am a digitalscrapbook.com subscriber and adore your site.

I'm Mindy. I live in Alabama. I'm 23 with no kids, but I do have a little dog named Mork and volunteer with children through girl scouts and my church so I have lots of kids I can call "mine". I don't have much experience scrapbooking, but we have to do something with all the pictures I've taken of my girl scout troop over the years so I'm trying to work on that.

@ Lisa Kelly: YES That's him Sir Scraps-a-Lot!!! Wasn't his real name Aaron? It has been a year or two since I've noticed him, but I stopped hanging out at so many places when I came over here, so I didn't know if it was just me. smiley

Shawna - I think you are right, I believe his name is Aaron. smiley

Hi, my name is Jay and I am fairly new to new digital scrapbooking. I dabbled with it a few years ago but found learning Photoshop and the demands of everyday life too demanding at the time and have only now returned to it. After a life changing event we decided to move states and, finding myself between jobs and sorting through all our stuff as I packed and then unpacked boxes, we have a stack of photographs and negatives which are just sitting in boxes never being looked at. So I decided to do something with them so that we could enjoy them, and also remember those who are no longer with us and who we miss terribly.
I use a Macbook Pro, Photoshop CS6 and am currently taking an online class about digital scrapbooking with Photoshop and my knowledge and confidence are growing in leaps and bounds and I'm already working on a photo book as a Christmas for my parents, who we visited recently when we went on our first international holiday in over ten years.
I still find digital scrapbooking a bit overwhelming (colour theory, shadows, what looks good, balanced layouts) but am trying to try something new on each page and learn in bite sized chunks.

Hi, my name is Gayle and I live in Bunbury Western Australia. I have a son and daughter from my first marriage and a step daughter and step son from my current marriage. I have 2 granddaughters from my step daughter aged 7(Gabby) & 5(Xanthe), and a grandson (Arthur) from my son aged 6 months. These grandies are a joy and a great inspiration. I began scrapbooking about 10 years ago but have just recently started digital scrapbooking. I have found it very addictive. Thank you DigitalScrapbook.com for providing such a great resource.

Welcome Natasha, Mindy, Jay and Gayle!!! So very glad to have you all here! I love reading about each of you and I look forward to getting to know you more in the forums and seeing your work/creations. smiley

Welcome everyone! So fun to see all the new faces! Thanks for saying hello!

Hi, I am Suzzi and I live in Stockholm, Sweden. I am 45 years old and have been scrapbooking since 2005. I live in a old house at the country with my 4 year old son, man, dog and cats. My life is busy between job and family so I don't get so much time to sit down at my computor and make photobooks as I want so I am years behind. My inspiration gets up and down nowadays and some days I just looking thru gallerys trying to find ideas. Maybe this will be the right place for me to hang out! smiley

I hope you have found the right place to Suzanne! We are more than glad to have you be a part of our little home here on the web. Look forward to knowing you better! smiley

Hello everyone! I am happy to join you. I havn't done any digital scrapbooking for a while, since I'm rather involved into papercraft these times, but I used to digiscrap a lot, for years, and I've been a designer as well. I don't have much time these days as I'm getting ready for a craft exhibition-sale, but I'll pop here now and then to see your beatiful layouts. Mom of 2 (Adeline, 13 yo and Raphaël, 7 yo) I'm french, live in Nice and work as a tour guide. Bye, then!

Hi! my name´s Adriana, I´m from México and I started to think about scrap book since I take a lot of pictures of my 2 girls, Andrea and Noemí. I´m a beginner , and I´m really happy to find this site. smiley

My name is amelia 16 years old. i found this wesite and i'ts amazing. i love making scrapbook

Howdy y'all! I'm from Austin, Texas and will be 25 in 2 days. My day job entails a different aspect of creativity, as I am a hairdresser. My husband works with Theatre Audio Visuals and projector installation and maintenance. He loves that I craft via computer because it means less mess! My parents are crafters (own their own full-time biz) and so I was always around creativity.

I am very excited to have found this site! I plan on working on my own elements and would love to add my artwork to pixelscrapper! smiley

Hello and sorry for my bad English. I'm French graphic designer in scrapbooking. I work for a French program called Studio-Scrap. I love your website where I find inspiration sometimes and fun items! I also do artwork and drawing in my free time.

Hi All! My name is Myra and I just found this site while looking for free paper downloadable's. I am an avid crafter I like to quilt by hand, crochet, cross stitch and embroider that is why I never wanted to do any scrapbooking however in 2006 my daughter dragged me to a Close To My Heart (CTMH is a scrapbooking company) open house. I was instantly hooked and never looked back! Now I have learned to incorporate some material, quilting and crocheting into my scrapbooking so I get the best of all my crafting world!! I live in Northern BC Canada in the Peace Region Area. I am a wife of 17 years Mom to 2 beautiful daughters and Grandma to 3 Grandchildren (1 girl 6yr, 2 boys 3 & 1yr old) and one little girl on the way, she is due in February 2015!! I look forward to getting to know everyone here at Pixel!
