Well I'm Pandora and I started out photo manipulating. That means I took photos and changed them into other pictures. It was usually photos of my nieces. I turned them into fairies or mermaids. Or i'd take photos of them in their Halloween costumes and make a picture based of the costume. While looking for tubes to add to my pics I learned about digital scrapbooking and the blog trains. Then later I found Marisa's site. Thanks Marisa. Haven't looked back since.

Hi everyone. My name is Sally. I am an avid scrapper -- both digital and paper. I also dabble in design under the name of WingedHeartOhio. I haven't designed in about 6 or so years due to poor health and depression, and haven't really scrapped all that much either. I hope joining this site will get me back in the swing of things. I really want to get a ton of pictures scrapped to save the memories for my nieces and nephews and their children, for after I am no longer living. I'm almost 63 years young, live in NE Ohio, USA, and am disabled and in poor health. I look forward to meeting everyone and hope to be active on the site.

J discovered digital scrapbooking about month or two ago...it Is not very popular in my country , j find out that so many people doesn't even know what the digital scrapbooking means(like me not so long ago ) but they do decorate their cook books and stuff on old fashion way by using scraps... J am totally in love with digital scrapbooking because it has so many options to express your creativity...

I know you are probably wondering, "then why the heck is she subscribed to this site dedicated to digital scrap-booking?" The truth is, I love digital art and creating beautiful stuff with it. I have designed several graduation announcements, invitations and am obsessed with having a beautiful Christmas card each year. The gorgeous digital art I find on here makes me want to create more and more. It's inspiring to see all of what everyone does. My name is Ellen. I'm from the Netherlands. and i just recently discovered this whole world of digital scrapbooking. I thought scrapbooking was something for people who didn't know how to use a computer and still had to print their photo's and then glue it together with cards and pieces of paper. I did like how it look liked, but me an siccors, glue and so.....not really.
But now i discovered that you can do all this without actually cutting and glueing. And if you don't like the result, you can always start over. Thats what i like about digital photo's.
So until now i have made photo-album with a very modern lay-out. But time has come for me to pimp things up...
I hope to show you soon what i am fabricating with these new possibilities.
I'm Meredith, originally from Melbourne, Australia, but now living in Stoke-on-Trent, UK... I came over for a year or two and fell in love with London... after 6 years there I fell in love with my partner and now I live in the city where my father grew up before his family immigrated to Australia. I used to teach Creative Memories and I miss that, as well as the great girlfriends I got to know at crops & workshops... I started doing some digital scrapbooking when I started travelling as it meant not lugging vast amounts of materials with me and I love it! I have never used Photoshop in my life, so I hope to learn how to use it soon & start contributing to the wonderful galleries of pages on here.
I keep a visual diary which I include some photos in, but mostly little things which I collect, a business card here, a news article there, a pressed flower, a hand-written note, and lots of other bits and pieces which catch my eye and I sometimes clip from a magazine or print from the internet. I have already used some of the digital embellishments in this way - but I look forward to using them in the manner in which they are intended as I learn to photoshop...
Oh & I am a total geek! So is my partner, Graham & so are many of our friends...
I have done so little & only ever used the most basic of layouts, with little to no embellishments, so I am in exactly the same boat as you! It's good to meet another newbie in the world of digital scrapbooking! ~M x
Hi all! I have been a stay at home mom of 4 daughters for years but just stepped back into a job part-time. So now I ONLY have time for digital scrapping. I've been scrapping traditionally for 20 years. I've used Panstoria Artisan (formerly SBC) for about 5 years but just purchased Photoshop Elements. I feel like a beginner again, I'm so lost. Looking forward to figuring it out and getting to know some of you.
