Hi, my name is Laurie. I am new to the digital scrapbooking world, but so eager to learn. I am an artist by heart and a technician in reality smiley . I love creativity, and researching ancestry. It was through my research, I found out several years ago, that our family has quite a lineage of creative people, including Napoleon Bourassa. Even though I have done a number of physical scrapbook pages, it does become quite time consuming and expensive. I think digital scrapbooking is going to allow me to be more creative with endless resources and learning opportunities.

Welcome everyone! Thanks for saying hello!

So many AWESOME newbies here at PS the past couple weeks!!! Thanks for sharing a little about yourselves. I look forward to getting to know each of you more around the website. smiley

Hello, my name is Nina and I am a (soon to be) 55 year old Child care giver from Delaware. I am married to a wonderful man who supports me in everything I do and doesn't complain when I spend most of my time at the computer. I have 3 children and 3 grandkids whom I am thankful for. I have been reading on this site for quite a while now, and am appreciative of what I have learned from each of you, and I know I will continue to learn more. About 5 years ago I started paper scrapping and making handmade cards. I consider myself a hybrid scrapper and love anything paper and digital. Thank you everyone, and especially Marisa and Jordan for starting DigitalScrapbook.com!

Hey, Hey Everyone! My name is Sharon, but most of my family and friends call my 'Shay'. I am currently a stay-at-home mom with 2 beautiful and active toddlers! I love to craft and scrapbooking has been a passion of mine for over a decade! I was a bit skeptical (ok, maybe a tad more than a bit skeptical smiley) about digital scrapbooking until I found pinterest... which led me here! I'm able to complete projects with some amazing digital assets so much faster than I could before! Now, I can't imagine not using digital scrapbooking tools! I just finished my first family yearbook and LOVE how it turned out! I can't wait to continue! Thank you DigitalScrapbook.com! You have made me one happy, creative Momma!!! smiley

Welcome! Thanks for saying hello!

Hi there!
So glad to be here and looking forward to meeting all of you! I am very grateful for the opportunity to be here!
Thinking back when there was a younger version of me (I am 48), I recall being curious with reading and writing. Not sure that I was very crafty (as in drawing) but I do know that I was blessed with a good sense for writing stuff (that actually made sense) and keeping a diary, collecting Holly Hobbie stationary, writing little notes and even cute and nonsense poems for my grade school friends. I was always inspired by pretty things and maybe the most important part, was how much I adored the smell of crispy paper and a freshly-sharpened pencil. Now, besides designing my own happy place, I enjoy sharing with others all the possibilities that they can find when using notepads, stickers, paper clips, paper, paper, paper...

Hi!

I'm Lívia, a brazilian mom and I love photos and scrap!

Hi smiley My name is Kayl (said like kale the leafy green food, not kyle) and I'm soon 24 years old. I am from America, however, I married a Swede and we're currently living very happily in a tiny little city in Sweden. I am a housewife but we're working on promoting me to a Stay at home Mom! I'd love to learn all that I can so when a Baby finally does arrive I can scrap all of the memories. I would also LOVE to learn how to create word graphics and share them! Granted, I've only done a small amount of looking, but I haven't seen much in the way of Swedish! I am BRAND NEW to digital scrapping. Just recently I stumbled across this site and was shocked to even learn digital scrapping existed! I am almost always glued to my computer and I've always wanted to be creative so I thought I'd try to dive in and have as much fun as I can while learning something new! I look forward to learning as much as I can and seeing you guys around the site! smiley

Hello, hello, hello! My name is Linda and I'm just starting to really get into digital scrapbooking. Unfortunately, My Digital Studio, which I have been using since it's inception is going away. Boo. However, I have found a replacement, I think. I'm looking forward to hanging out here since my other hangout spots will most likely go away along with the software. I was going to post one of my layouts, but now I'm a little embarrassed. I'm sure I'll get over it soon. Hope you are all having a lovely day!

Welcome everyone! Thanks for saying hello!

Hello! My name is DeLora and I'm from Michigan. I have been a traditional scrapbooker since the '90s, but am just entering the world of digital scrapbooking. I like to scrapbook photos of my family and outdoor adventures. I'm grateful to have found this wonderful site.

Welcome DeLora! So glad to have you!

My name is Rachel and I work at our family business, an auto repair shop in central Texas. I am the mother of one son, who is now working alongside his father in the shop, can't believe he's 20 already. I started traditional scrapbooking in the mid 90's and have loved it ever since. I am rather new to digital scrapbooking, but am really enjoying it. I am enjoying being a part of the lovely community you have made for us here. Thanks Marisa.

Hello there. I'm Marel and I live in Texas. I'm newish to digital scrapbooking and am really enjoying it. I am not very computer savvy so finding this site has been wonderful. It's so nice to know that if I have a question there will be someone who will answer it. I don't work at this time so digital scrapbooking has given me something to occupy my free time.

Hi to everyone. I am a mother and wife and that pretty much takes up my time. I have been scrapbooking for almost 20 years now. I recently started to do digital scrapbooking when my husband brought me the Craft Artist program he bought at a flea market for a $1.00. I am so glad he did because I really enjoy it. I have found this site and got hooked. I love looking through the forums and seeing what eveyone has to say.

Hello, my name is Heather and I am just beginning to learn about digital scrapbooking. I live in Kentucky and I have spent the last decade attaining a law degree with some of its studies outside the United States, so am unbelievable happy to be back home in the US!! I am the mother of one amazing daughter who is 18 and will be heading off to University in the fall leaving me with time on my hands. So with my daughter leaving, my studies ended and my job finally beginning to quiet down, I now have time for a project that I have put off for more years than I care to admit. Happy Scrapbooking to All!

Hi, my name is Rosemary and I live in Tucson, AZ. I have been digital scrapbooking for several years. I recently decided to get serious and work on current pics of my family and a few blasts from the past. I tend to focus using pictures as the focal point and work around them I'm spreading out as I use tutorials to get ideas.

Hello my name is Santana I am self proclaimed Graphic Designer, teacher, mother of two, and a wife. I like to dabble a little in Digital Scrapbooking with my kids at school. They love it.

Welcome everyone! Thanks for saying hello!

Hi

I am Conny from Germany. Mother of 2 and Grandmother of a newborn (by this day Luca is 12 days old). Couple years ago I came in contact with digital scrapbooking. But due to life situations I just couldnt bring up the time. Now that my grandson is born I really wanted to give him something special when he has grown. So I started scrapbooking again.

Hi! I'm Jennifer. Mother of two and middle school teacher. I've been using all of my digital scrapbooking downloads to enhance my presentations for my classroom, and I LOVE what I've found here so far. smiley

Hi! My name is Nancy, I live in New York. I'm a mother of 5 kids. In my free time, I love to scrapbook. I also love challenges. I love creating things. My favorite of all is photo slideshows.

Hello everyone - I'm Ann - an artist, wife, mother to two grown children and grandma to three sweet (and ornery) grand kids - two boys & a girl. I just found this site yesterday and am so glad I did. I can't wait to start using some of the great resources on here. I've been doing different kinds of crafts since I was 9 years old. I started sewing, learned quilting with my mom, and finally started designing wearable art. Fast forward to the late 90's and I discovered scrap-booking. I had to do something with all those cute pictures I'd been taking of my kids and grand kids (yep - hobby photographer too). We recently moved from 80 beautiful acres in the Ozark mountains to town to be closer to hubby's heart doctors and my work. I teach 4th grade and love it! During the move I discovered just how much scrap-booking stuff I've collected over the years. I'd been dabbling in digital scrap-booking and trying to teach myself GIMP, so this seemed like the perfect time to down-size and get into more digital. Definitely more compact! smiley

Hello everyone, my name is Elodie. I am a french 32 years old mum of "almost" 2 daughters : the first is an adorable 3 years old and the second one is to be born any hour now. I am new to the digital scrapbooking world, I in fact do not use a scrapbook software per se, I use a software specific to cretae photo album, in which you can do a lot of things but for example I cannot use pre-made template. So I hope I will get many advices on which digital ascrapbooking software I should start with, I am so eager to learn.
It has been a few days I have been hanging around on this website and forums, admiring the beautiful kits and layouts. Creativity here is everywhere and so inspiring! Many thanks to Marisa for allowing us to share and learn!

Hello everyone, my name is Elise and I live on the small island of Malta. I have be lucky enough to have retired early with my husband to this lovely island. So after everyday life has been done (housework / shopping etc) can spend the day paper crafting, walking reading and knitting. I make cards mostly, for my own family but also to order, the money goes towards more crafty stash! I have just started digital scrapping and I hope to do albums for my family. I have been looking at the gallery and have been inspired, hopefully will be able to do pages as fab one day! Thank you for letting me join and learn. Everyone have a lovely weekend.

Welcome everyone! Thanks for saying hello!

Hi,
Let me introduce myself: I'm Stef from Essen, Germany - a 1st class wannaby digi scrapper and procrastinator with many years of experience in both fields, 50 years old, married and employed full-time as a PA to a director at one of the large German utilities.
After a recent computer crash, things finally got to the point where I said "why do I save (and backup - and restore) all this stuff I've been saving? Because I want to make a couple of good scrapbooks commemorating my/our friendship with the UK part of my "family", really. A friendship which has been going on since 1985. And why don't I get started? Because...
Because my first love is dollhouse miniatures, second cooking/entertaining, third card making, fourth golfing, fifth reading, sixth gardening, 7th travelling, 8th sewing/quilting, ... and then, somewhere, creating those photobooks!
You seem like the right lot to inspire me and keep me going for as long as it takes to record 30 years of friendship, and for the years to come!
Unlike many of my order, I work with different computers for work and for home. Yes, I do have my notebook here, but I tend not to use it. So on a lot of nights, I may not be available – simply because I cannot bear looking at a screen anymore. So it may take some time for me to reply, I'm not beeing unresponsive, I am simply too tired to look.
Please overlook any language hitches – I feel pretty confident writing in English, but it is not my mother tongue, so I may say something inadvertantly.
Thanks to the Crew & to all members,
Stef

HI I'm Terra from Iowa. I love this site to create cards/invites for my families birthday parties and holiday parties. I am a photographer and also like to use digital scrapbook items in my work.
