Welcome to all the new members!

Hi! My name is Adrienne, like in the Rocky movies, (you know you just did the Yo, Adrienne at least in your head! LOL). I am 37 years young. I have a great husband who thankfully doesn't mind the hours I spend online doing this stuff. smiley We have a 15 year old daughter who is my greatest blessing as well as my greatest source of stress and a 20 year old step daughter who has blessed us with the sweetest little grandson we could ever ask for! She recently married an Air Force man who is currently deployed & protecting our abundant freedoms! I started paper scrapbooking when my daughter was born but work & life in general didn't leave a lot of time for it in the last several years. I just discovered the world of digital scrapping when I was searching for things to use on my photo edits. I have a full on addiction to taking pictures and I am really excited to use all of the great items I have downloaded. I intend to make a bound memory book for my daughter using photos from her 1st 18 years with pages of lyrics to great songs (including a CD or memory card with the actual music) as a graduation gift. 3 years will go by fast so I better get started!
Thank you for hosting this site! I have checked out a lot of other sites as well and while they each have something to offer, this one is the most user friendly, has great (and safe) downloads and is the only one that urges its members to interact with each other.
I look forward to many happy downloads together! smiley

Welcome everyone!

Hi, I'm 18 years old and I live in Brazil. I love crafts and graphic design and I'm starting to sell items such as invitations, boxes, treat holders ... I have a cutting machine and I use your digital papers to print and cut. I am very grateful that you make available so many beautiful things for free and I'll certainly upgrade when possible.

Welcome!

Hi - I'm Megan and I live in Nashville, TN. I'm a pastry chef by day but I love doing anything crafty at night. My husband gets annoyed sometimes because the house looks like craft supplies exploded everywhere smiley I'm new to this digital scrapbooking and frankly feel quite overwhelmed by getting started but I've already found so many wonderful pages and ideas. I love seeing everyones unique creativity smiley

Hi Marisa and Jordan!

My name is Dinnae, a mum to 3 boys, & about to celebrate 10 years of marriage to a crazy Aussie man I love. We live in Surrey, BC, & spent 4 years in Melbourne Australia. I'm a wordpress web designer & online marketer - my husband & I have our own company, Ripl Social (he's a PHP programmer). I've been scrapbooking since I was pregnant with my first child (almost exactly 9 years actually!), but I don't have much time to do it at the moment. I do get to play in Photoshop daily with my work though. smiley

I found PixelScrapper earlier this year sometime (or maybe the end of last year - I can't remember!), when I was looking for a damask overlay for a website I was building. We didn't end up using the overlay for that site, but finding your site was a joy for me! So many papers, papers, papers. One of the things that I always did when paper scrapping was create my own papers with paint and collage, etc, because the premade designs bored me, or never fit just perfectly. I always had the dream that one day I would actually do what YOU do, and create these lovely elements... maybe one day still.

Thank you so much for this site, and all that you have created. smiley smiley

Welcome everyone! Thanks for saying hello!

hello all, I am Kathrine, but go by KatLen .... I just found DigitalScrapbook.com though a friend that posted here. I design kit and use them in my own scrapping. I live on a small farm with my family in Missouri.

Hi. I'm Jan and I live in WA state. I have been digi scrapping for a couple years and really enjoy this site for inspiration. Thanks to all for your designs and ideas!

Hello everyone! I'm Debra, also known to many as 'dj.' I live in the very hot and ultra humid state of Louisiana, USA, not far from New Orleans. Food and culture here is like nowhere else in the world. I have three grown stepsons and 7 grandchildren. I have no artistic capabilities as far as drawing and painting are concerned, but I've always been a tad crafty. I think the first time I realized that I could be artistic with the aid of an external device was when I was given a Spirograph set as a child. Let the creations begin! I began to enter contests from the newspaper using the Spirograph and actually won once in a while. I loved the paint by number and Velvet paint sets, too. I couldn't draw anything on my own, but I could follow directions. I always had a paper scrapbook going where I taped things to the construction paper type pages and wrote on the side of the items. I still have those old scrapbooks and cherish them. Then one day the door-to-door book salesman came to our house and my parents bought a World Book Encyclopedia set and a Child Craft book set. I was in heaven! I must have tried every craft in those Child Craft books!

I became somewhat of a techie after purchasing my first desktop computer about 22 years ago. It had its share of problems and I quickly realized that I needed to learn how to fix things myself or it would cost me a fortune to pay someone else to do it. Computers were very expensive back then. After purchasing two computers and doing all the upgrades and repairs myself, I started building my own. I'm lucky enough to have a local computer club whose membership has enabled me to learn a lot as well as share with others what I've learned.

I owned an older JASC version of Paint Shop Pro, but didn't know how to use it. When I found out that the Digital Scrapbooking class at my computer club was using Paint Shop Pro, I joined the class with the goal of learning how to use the program. That's where I fell in love with Digital Scrapbooking. Once I grasped the concept of layers, I realized that I could do anything and the possibilities were endless. I'm also an avid genealogist, and have become interested in photography in the last few years, purchasing my first DSLR. Digital Scrapbooking carries all of my interests to new levels. I scrap family pictures, as well as my family history and my personal photography. I enjoy making my own cards, invitations, etc. I initially learned on Paint Shop Pro, and also own Photo Shop and Light Room since venturing into photography.

I haven't actively participated in a scrap community in a long time. I like the feel of this place. Thanks for having me! : )

Welcome everyone!

Hello, my name is Leeann. I'm 30 years old and I live in the San Joaquin Valley of California, just a few hours from everything (including Disneyland, which my husband and I admit that we are way too obsessed with). I am the wife to an amazing husband after God's own heart who is currently completing his education to become a special education teacher. For now, I am one of the unit clerks for the busy neonatal intensive care unit at our local hospital, but once Nathan finishes school I'd love to cut back my hours there and spend some time at home starting our family. Together we are the Youth Pastors at a church within the Church of God of Prophecy (Pentecostal<no, not the snake kind>) where we are active in all kinds of ministries including: music (singing and playing piano & guitar), teaching the adult English Sunday School class (bilingual church), creating curriculum and conducting children's church, and even preaching on occasion. (Yeah- I'm the typical go-to/do-all kinda gal)

I'm really excited to start a family and this year is full of preparing for a new addition. Truth is, having a baby is something my body is resisting. The doctors may say one thing, but God has promised us a child and we are believing and resting in that promise. So instead of being worried about what might or might not be, we are trusting in God to carry out His promise by finishing the house improvements and getting the nursery ready for our little miracle.

I started a blog called Lovealee Thoughts a few years ago, but it was something I just kind of played around with. It wasn't until a few months ago that I started to get a clear vision of what I wanted to do. The blog is currently in the middle of a major overhaul and I hope to have it to where I want it in the next few months.

I've always been a big scrapper.. like since I was a small kid with Lisa Frank stickers. I have been a bit intimidated by Digital Scrapping since I first saw it and never thought it would be anything I'd be interested in. When formal scrapping got too tedious and time consuming, I turned to Project Life. I bought card kits and binders and found my craft room really taking shape. BUT- it gets expensive and takes up SO MUCH ROOM!! When I realized I was a scrapper junkie with a problem, I had to downsize to something more manageable. (In walks Becky Higgins Project Life App) Before I knew it, I was hooked on this app!! I downloaded all the digital card kits and got to work in every spare moment I could find. It's so convenient to scrap via iPhone (which takes amazing pictures btw), but I wanted something more sophisticated. I started to really miss the stickers and the ribbons and the glues and the stamps and the markers.... when I realized what I really missed was the uniqueness that each thought-out design had. Project Life was easy and fun, but i missed the elements.

So here I am, just getting started on a new venture. My plan is for a hybrid!!! I want to mix the convenience of Project Life with the Design qualities of traditional scrapbooking.. all digitally. Man, I hope I can figure this out. lol
I am so blessed to have found such an awesome site!! I'm excited about this! Thanks to Marisa and Jordan for making this available!! smiley

Thanks for the warm welcome, and hello to all my fellow newbies! smiley

Hi Everyone, I'm Danielle. I live in Alabama but grew up in Virginia. I just found DigitalScrapbook.com last month but so far I am loving it! I don't have a blog right now but I use to run a myspace for tags/digital designs. I have two girls... They keep me pretty busy. I like to do my layouts in a 4x6 so I can get them printed out for photo albums. Thanks for creating a great site!

Welcome everyone!

@Leeann: Lisa Frank stickers. Yay!

@Marisa: I know! I would have kept my pages in my Trapper Keeper, but mom said they were too expensive for just a binder. *gasp* "Just a binder"?!?! She had no idea. At least I had enough stickers to cover up my folders. lol

Hi! I'm Estibaliz but everybody calls me Sti. I live in Madrid, Spain and I'm 39. I discovered scrapbooking 5 years ago but I haven't done my first attempt at digital scrap till last week. Anyway, Hello friends!!! smiley

Hello there,

I am Diane, and 40 *cough cough* year old SAHM of two boys. So most of my time is spent cooking, cleaning, and saying "Don't hit your brother with that!" or "Turn off that video game!" In addition, I am an avid knitter and spinner, a self-proclaimed foodie, and 20-year (on and off) scrapbooker. My scrapbooking started (and continues) with paper and glue and I have only recently decided to plunge in to the digital world. I decided to go digital when I was scrapping a Disney trip and decided I wanted to make a book for both boys. There was so much overlap that I thought "if I could just print a copy of this...." and realized that digital would be the way to go. So over the past several months I have been playing, learning, buying, buying, buying. Now that the Disney stuff is (mostly) scrapped, I wanted to venture out to more general, daily-life-type scrapbooking and I came across this site, which I love because the gallery is not confined by one designer. I love browsing the galleries for ideas, designers, and products and it is nice to see such a variety!

So there you go! That's me and I hope to be around here a bit!

Hi! I just discovered DigitalScrapbook.com less than an hour ago..but it's 3am. I'm afraid I won't sleep! Love this site and look forward to contributing and supporting in the future. Thank you so very much for the site. Love it!

Hi I'm Jalyn. I retired from nursing after 35 years. I moved from the city to a very small town to take care of my elderly parents. I have been scrapbooking for a very long time. In fact I found some stuff that I had done in Kindergarden. I drive my family nuts because I am always taking pictures. Sometime stopping on the side of a busy road to take a picture. I found Pixelscrapper about 2 months ago and love the items offered for downloading. Lots of very talented people. So hello from Escalante, Ut (pop under 300) and it nice to meet you. smiley

Hello all- welcome! You will love it here at PixelScrapper, It's my fave digi-scrap site by far! I can't wait to see all of your work and inspiration!

Hey everyone! I am fairly new to pixelscrapper. I really am a beginner in this. I have done digital layouts for my craft projects but this type of digital scrapbooking is all new to me. I live in Utah and I have a blended family. We make it work to the best of our ability. I am excited to start being able learn new things related to digital scrapbooking and hopefully be able to broaden my crafting experience!

Welcome Cassie- I hope you love this place as much as I do! The people are so friendly and between the tutorials and the people here, I've already learned so much- feel free to ask any questions you may have!
