Designer Challenge - Baby, It's Cold Outside Mini Kit - Due 12/20

Robin, you and I both used the word art "snowflakes are kisses from heaven", and I love how they both turned out! So cool! And I, too, really like that red paper on the left.

There, finished mine. That was...definitely more challenging than I thought it would be, mostly due to restrictions. And I spent way too long messing around with fonts. Plenty of ideas for themed things, too, and not so many for universal stuff. I decided glitter paper counted as "patterns," but the two tiny dot patterns I did looked too solid zoomed out so I used those as bonus solids rather than actual patterned papers (hence twelve papers instead of ten). Overall I'm happy with it. Now to set up a shop to put it in.

Edit: for now, this kit is available through my Etsy shop. The first preview links to the listing, or you can find my shop on my profile.

Just the papers:

Just the elements:

Just the word art:

smiley Looks fabulous, Amanda. I hear you about messing with fonts. .....

Thanks, Bina. smiley Oddly enough, of all the restrictions, limiting myself to one five-color palette was not the worst.

Robin and Lisel, I like how your kits turned out too. smiley

Amanda, you kit turned out gorgeous!

I have not forgotten this challenge.. I have a bunch of random things created but it has not turned into a kit yet.

Thanks, Gina! I look forward to seeing what you have. smiley

Amanda, I really like your kit! I wouldn't have thought to use those colors, but they work very well together. Very classy looking!

Thanks, Lisel! I wanted an excuse to do something with a snow theme, and figured the palette without red in it would work best. smiley

Amanda, thats a Wowzier kit! Terrific. I can see how you spent a lot of time of word art. Beautiful. Love everything about it.

Thanks, Robin!

I added a few random Baby It's Cold Outside items to the commons.

Great idea to renew the challenge! Love all the creations ladies! I am wanting to learn how to design now that I'm feeling comfortable using PS to create layouts. Thank you for the inspiration! smiley smiley

SO I am not a designer, but I would like to ask....
When will these lovely kits be available here on PS?
Will they be available here on PS?
Or are they in an online store where I can buy them?
If so, are there any links to those stores?
I am asking because these are beautiful kits!!!
smiley

PS Gina, downloaded those elements you put in the Commons.... Thanks.

I still need to get around to setting up a shop specifically for digiscrap stuff, Robynne, but I can probably list mine on my craft Etsy page for a little while at least. smiley I'll mention once I've got it up, and update the image to link to it.

Edit: my kit is currently available on Etsy for the time being. Links in the previous post (the one with the previews) or in my profile.

@ Robin: It's up to each participant to determine what they want to do with their kit. I try to add mine here at PS but others may want to use it as inspiration for kits they sell. There is no time limit, participants may join at any time - it is always open.

Thank you for your kind and encouraging words. And thank you for downloading my portion. smiley
