Amanda, your kit is awesome. I really like the phone and the little word art bits.

Susan, That explains everything.

I've decided to pick this challenge up. I've been going at it all day and I'm learning so much. I'm interrupting this challenge slightly different from others because my work is so different. I work as the "expert on staff" in a fiber arts shop. I can knit and crochet and we have weaving at the shop as well. I also knit shop samples and sell my hand knitted items. So, I'm making a fiber arts kit.

I love dark jewel tones and I wanted to work with them for this challenge so I chose this color palette:

Now back to learning all about elements.

Wow, Erin I love the idea for the kit and the palette. I just can't wait to see what you will create.

Alright I finished it up today. It was able to fit in one file but I wanted everyone to see how much was in it so I made a few previews. I came up with 5 solid papers, 12 patterned papers, 29 elements, and 12 word art. I really focused on recoloring images and textures in this pack. It's only my 2nd time using Photoshop so I hope you like it. I tried to check gamut and stray pixels, but if I missed something I'm sorry. You can download it on my blog HERE.

This looks great Erin. I love the little sheep smiley

Erin, that's GORGEOUS! I don't do much with knitting or crochet, but that reminds me so much of my grandmother's work and of the elderly lady who taught me the basics while my father was doing handyman jobs for her. She was constantly making afghans, and gave me one in 8th grade--ombre purple shell stitch center strips, surrounded by a ring of white double crochet, and the strips bound with violet single crochet into a strip-type afghan. The one she gifted my son with at his birth is pale yellow knit with a light green hexagonal overstitch and double-crochet binding. Thanks for bringing up those memories! smiley

I think you've got the papers down at this point, and I've seen kits for sale with elements that don't look that good, so give yourself a well-earned pat on the back and a cup of your favorite beverage!

Thank you so much Holly, I love knitting because it is such a stress reliever for me.

I'm so glad it brings up good memories for you. My grandmother taught me to crochet at a young age and she gave me an afghan as well. The thing is scratchy and in pastels (which I'm not a fan of) but I will cherish it always.

I've been working on extracting new elements for the December BT. I think I have the recoloring down so I've been using the magic wand and pen tools along with masks to extract new elements. I'm so excited about this entire process and I'm glad people can use my creations.

Thank you!

My work is so diversified but I'm trying to narrow it down to one area. I hope to have something soon.

Thank you

One aspect of my job is to film and edit (church announcements) so my kit kit is called Lights, Camera, Action. I uploaded it to my blog if you'd like to snag it.
