Ok. We're going to try this one again, with a few more rules this time. You have until January 19th to sign up (leave a comment below). I will then organize everyone into groups and email the starting person in each group a layout to scraplift. She will then pass her NEW layout onto the next person in her list. February 9th will be the big reveal when everyone can post their layout and we can see what happened.
When I create the lists, I will also set the time frame you have to create a layout. Keep in mind that it will be short (1-3 days) so you will need to be available throughout the 30 day challenge to complete this challenge.
One question. Should all the groups do the same layout? Or should I pick different layouts for different groups?
I'm in. My first time doing this. Just to be clear: Each person scraplifts the one that's before them, then passes their scraplifted layout to the person after them? Just FYI - the prompt still says October.

As for if the groups get different layouts - I think it would be fun to see how the same layout goes in the 2 groups but it would also be fun to have 2 different layouts so...
I'm in. At first I thought each group should have a different layout but I like Kaleena's idea that it would be interesting to see how different the groups layout would be with the same challenge. I have never done this type of challenge but I am looking forward to doing it.

I love telephone challenges! I think it would be so fun to have the groups start with the same layout. Will we be able to see each iteration of the layout through the group after the challenge is finished, or just the final example?
I think this will be a good way to do my first official digi layout. I'm in. I agree with everyone, it would be interesting to see each person's take on the same layout.
@Lauren: The point of the exercise is to see how the layout is interpreted from each new interpretation. Just like the children's game "Telephone" if you're familiar with that, where everyone sits in a line and the person at the beginning whispers something in the ear of the person next to them. The message travels down the line until it reaches the end, where it's generally nothing like the original.
Oh! I want to do this but I would need to be in the January group - I will be gone from Feb 5th for 2 weeks and not taking my laptop! If that is possible, I'm definitely game!
I´m in too. Other thing I´ve seen made in other communities not to "break" the challenge is that the person sends the layout to the one below her with a copy to the challenger - so, in case someone delays, the challenger passes the layout on to the next...
I'm in too. I like the idea of the same layout for all groups, and would prefer to be in an earlier group, as I'll be teaching from Jan 28th.
I am in...hopefully I will get a chance to participate this time!! I agree with Lorien that there needs to be some kind of "overseeing" so we can complete it this time.
I am keen to play again. Would like to see how the same starting layout evolved in different ways when split into groups.
