FLASH Challenge (48 hours) - White Space

This FLASH Challenge is to create a layout that utilizes white space.
Here is an example that was created by Catherine:

if you would like to see more layouts that utilize white space in our gallery click here.

The Details

  1. Challenge ends 48 hours after the original posting
  2. See updated rules here.
  3. You must tag your layouts with these THREE tags: apr 2015 layout challenge, flash, flash white space apr 2015 challenge
  4. See entered layouts here.
  5. Link your layout here in the forum to your gallery. Doing this makes it much easier for others to find your layout and smiley or comment on it. If you don't know how to do this there is a great tutorial here

Not sure when the challenge ends? It is quite simple to figure out. Above my photo on the 1st post it says how many days or hours ago the post was made - if you hover over it with your mouse it will give you the exact time and date (this works on all the replies also). Then you would just add 48 hours smiley Here is a screenshot:

Hopefully, the snow counts (and my dog!). smiley

White space doesn't refer to the use of the color white, Vidia, but rather to leaving empty space in your layout.

Ohhhh, gotcha!

This challenge gave me the extra push I needed to scrap this photo of my oldest daughter. She graduates in less than a month!

I'll have lots of new photos to scrap when I get back from my trip on Sunday. Maybe, I can get one in while on vacation for this flash challenge.

Here's my attempt!

Soo.. when I was putting this page together I really planned to have lots of space..
I placed my poster.. and thought I should add the original poster..
Then I had to journal a little.. next I thought it would be neat to add the two pics I used to make the poster..
So.. here we are.. tried to keep the page airy without making the poster to small..

I decided to try again, and I came up with this one...

Krissy, I like both of them, but I really like the way you layered the papers on the pink one! smiley

Here's mine!

I'm creating a kit to make our new lil one's baby book and these papers & the journal cards are part of it. Been wanting to scrap his 3d ultrasound photo and decided to take advantage of this challenge. smiley

Yay!
