I'm going through a minimalist phase, so I thought I'd share that with you all here!

This will be really hard for me
This is more my style than lots of stuff!
2 papers, 3 elements
Here is another one: 2 papers, 5 elements
Here is my submission. It is also my first layout upload!! WooHoo!
1 paper - 3 elements
Layout in gallery here
I used one paper, two different scatters, a double frame, a tab, and a paper snowflake. The items are from the Birds in Snow and Sparkle Christmas kits, available on Pixelscrapper.
A bit extreme- no papers or elements unless frames and shadow can be considered.
Could not decide which I liked the best so here is #2 with an opacity layer.

Minimalism: no challenge for me
Strange, double layouts come out too big. Help, Kaleena!
Here's an accounting: 2 Papers (kraft and patterned paper in the cut out). 5 Ellies (red tab, paint mask, ribbon, flower, scatter) I didnt count the picture frame...I hope that's okay.
well, i tried... brushes don't count as elements, right?! and neither do JC, yes? and staples can hardly be considered an element, right, i mean they're so tiny and essential. ok, then technically i only got 1 extra element. that's acceptable, right, i can live with that
Paddy, haha you're funny!! I didn't know brushes didn't count, I could've added more?!
Because husband and I have different taste, I am posting two pages I made.
Number one, I like better
Number two, husband prefers
This was hard for me! I now realize that I have one extra element- oops!
It's so interesting seeing all the different layouts!
Here's my version - 2 Papers & 5 Elements (frame, scatter, wordart, flower and butterfly)
Here's Mine!
I think by that definition, almost all of my layouts are minimalist
This one has one paper, one element (x4) and one alpha:

It's been a really long time since I posted a layout. (or actually did one) The picture is not very good but I had to get this down so I wouldnt forget the story. I only used the two papers, staples and text so I guess it's minimalist, but it seems a bit fancy to me. Oh well, there's always the next one.
