Layout Challenge - UnHalloween - Deadline Nov 6

The designers here at DigitalScrapbook.com have been releasing some superb Halloween bundles. But I know for me I'll be lucky if I have even one photo related to Halloween. So my challenge for you this week is to use a Halloween themed bundle with a non-Halloween photo/s. Use a bundle from DigitalScrapbook.com or from somewhere else, but these are the lovely ones available here:

  1. Challenge ends after Nov 6, 2014.
  2. See updated rules here.
  3. You must tag your layouts with these TWO tags: nov 2014 layout challenge, unhalloween nov 2014 challenge
  4. See entered layouts here.
  5. Link your layout here in the forum to your gallery. Doing this makes it much easier for others to find your layout and smiley or comment on it. If you don't know how to do this there is a great tutorial here

We don't actually celebrate halloween so we wouldn't have any halloween pics for that reason. My two youngest are pretty sensitive & don't like to see all the "creepy stuff" in the store for halloween. My 3yr old likes to cover her eyes and say "Don't Look" lol!

Well here is my submission. These papers worked so nice with this photo my son caught of my daughter & I while we were at the orchard.

Here's my entry...
My niece & nephew spent the night a while back and we made Monster Repellant (monsters from their past continue to haunt them both) - the magick they make themselves is much stronger than anything I could provide. Don't you just love the looks of concentration on their faces? And great news - it's been 2 weeks now and not a single monster has dared enter either child's dreams (which more than doubles their last record!).

This was a hard challenge because the Halloween kits have all elements and wordart that pertain to Halloween so to move away from that took some thinking (for me).

Here's mine - about as un-halloweeny as you can get:

One from me using Janet's "Chills & Thrills" bundle. Great use of the Halloween kit's off-theme ladies. smiley

Here is my page with Chills & Thrills by Janet Scott.

We don't celebrate Halloween here so I have been challenged quite a bit recently to use kits in a nonHalloween way! This is using Bewitched by Vero.

I am Halloweened out--only because there are so many great Halloween kits, and I'm out of Halloween photos! So this challenge was perfect since I did a non-Halloween layout using Janet Scott's Chills n Thrills kit.

Great pages everyone! Amazing how you can use these themed kits for other things too.

Well done on the challenge everyone. I am going to play along later today since you have inspired me so. Marisa, is correct I love the digital kits available here at DigitalScrapbook.com they are all beauties in this category so much inspiration to work with.

I'm too late for the challenge, but I used Marisa's Kawaii Halloween in non holiday pages:

i'm late but wanted to participate just the same, so here's my layout:
