April Paper a Day Challenge: Week 3

It's week 3 already! Can you believe it???

This designer challenge will run the entire month of April. The goal is to make a paper a day. If you don't have time everyday to participate, that's okay; there will be wiggle room to play catch up. Everyday I will post a theme for you to use. Before we start you can give some thought to what color palette you would like to use and what you'd like to do with your finished product, which should be 30 papers. (Here's a link to my pinterest board for color palettes.)

In this thread you may post:

  1. Questions and comments on completing each paper theme.
  2. Finished papers and/or templates. You may of course post small thumbnail images if you are saving the finished product for something.
  3. I'll post a new thread each week so that things don't get too out of hand.
  4. Don't worry if you're behind or starting in the middle, feel free to share whatever you make.

Back to the basics. Here's my plaid paper:

This time around was much less complicated than the last!

These look gorgeous!!

Wonderful - I am so enjoying this challenge - just seeing the different ideas people come up with. Great job ladies!

Here is my Plaid.

Day 15_Plaid

Wow, Holly! Gorgeous plaid you've made!

Here is mine for today:

This one was quick because I already had a plaid that I made for my multi-pattern paper. I'm glad, because I still have four to catch up on from when I was away at school this weekend!

Here are a couple of catch-up papers and now Yikes! I have to go do my taxes. smiley

O, i won't be able to catch up anymore because of the lack of time smiley

Here is my plaid for today:

Loving all of the plaid!! Fab job ladies!

My plaid of the day.

Marisa, would you possibly be willing to post the challenges for the week. I have lots of time tonight to design, but the reminder of the week is looking more sketchy. I'd love to be able to keep up with things (have enjoyed learning new techniques).

Ok. I've filled in the rest of the week to give people a head's up on what's coming. Also, if you're behind you don't have to worry about catching up. You can just jump in the middle. At this point you'd still get about 15 papers, which is nothing to be shy about!

Thanks so much! That helps greatly!

Here's my grunge paper:

And here's a preview of what I've done so far, since we're about half way:

Here is my Grunge paper for the day

@Marisa: Love the way you show your papers! Gonna try that tomorrow night too smiley

Playing catch up again:

From a picture, this one was tricky. Here are my attempts:

Damask, thanks for the template Marisa!:

Day 16_Grunge

Grunge is hard. I'm tired of this palette. And I might be a wee bit cranky today--LOL!

My grunge for today. This is definitely not my forte!

Looks great everyone! Today is words. I haven't had much of a theme in mind for my papers, I guess I'll have to come up with something today.

@Saskia: You can download my preview template here, plus there's a link to a tutorial if you need it.

And my doodle paper (I really love how this one turned out!):

I love that doodle paper Meridy!! I also really like your color scheme. smiley

Here's my words paper... I debated whether to add more texture but ended up settling on this.
