I would like to join in on challenges like this one... but the time limit is not good for me...
Will see how the next couple of days go to see if I can get something done for this challenge.
In my layout, there is...
~ 3 layered papers in the background with varied opacities - dots, stripes, and checks
~ 1 paper behind the photo/frame
~ 1 March Word Art
~ 1 Alpha that spells 2010
~ 10 distinct elements including 2 layered messy borders, 2 different types of shamrocks, 1 striped frame, 1 set of rainbow arrows, 1 rainbow, 1 shamrock flair, 1 heart stamp (below the March Word Art), and 1 paint flower stamp in the upper right hand corner.
Here it is.
@Janet: What kit is that? I love the painted border.
Loved this challenge! it was very different
Elizabeth--I really like the stitched border on your page
Janet--the colors on your page are great & your photo choice is precious
Elizabeth, I really like that border too. I just decided I didn't care for stitching, but as a border, wow!
thanks sarah and laura!
Yes, it seems that you CAN use photos. Look...the last ingredient states "# of photos - you choose". Hence, you can use photos! Yay! Happy Scrappin'!
I love the layouts posted by Janice and Elizabeth! Awesome!
Marissa, the whole layout was designed with Just Jaimee's March Storyteller Collection that was just released. It has 105 total elements...just an insane amount! Since it was just released, she has the whole kit and caboodle on sale for $6.50 vs. the usual price of $14.95. Check out her Facebook page here for the code.
Oh, and thanks so much Sarah.
Here is my layout. Another of my dad's book. With these challenges it will get me done in no time! YAY!
I love it, Heather! Those hexagons and the different ribbons together ... awesome.
Here is my Layout Recipe Challenge
