Do you struggle with making layouts for BOYS?

Do you struggle with making layouts for BOYS? I have, and if you're a visual person you might want to check these out:

Fast Scrapbook Pages About Boys
Boy Digital Scrapbooking Layouts
Boy Birthday Scrapbook Pages

What you'll notice is these layouts are not dominated by flowers (maybe 2 l/o's had a couple of string or paper flowers on them at most), which I appreciated - most boys don't like flowers on their pages (I know mine don't like them). These layouts also helped me to visualize how to make appealing pages for boys... What I noticed was that the pages tend to be more minimalistic in nature (which I'm starting to discover is possibly my style) - focusing on word art & journaling, a few paper strips &/or ink, and a few well-chosen/placed elements. Clustering is rarely done.

My boys aren't little anymore (one's in 11th grade, and the other is a tween), so these examples were helpful to me. I hope you find them helpful as well. smiley

Love them...thanks! (I like your last name...my little boy is named Killian)

Aww, thank you, Karry! smiley

Thank-you for these links, I do struggle making pages for my Grandsons, girls you can add a lot of pretty stuff, thanks again.

Thanks for the links. I probably put to many flowers on my sons pages.

What a great resources, thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the links, good info.

My oldest grandson is getting ready for kindergarten, he loves dinosaurs, sports balls like baseballs, footballs etc, superheros and space things.

I don't think I will be putting flowers on layouts for his photos smiley

Thanks! I'll definitely have to keep these in my scraplifting/ideas stash!

I technically don't have a problem with "boy" layouts, but with Tomboy layouts. My daughter is 100% tomboy. I wasn't able to find much in the digital freebies world for her so I created a kit that worked pretty well (a little more pink than she liked, but the basic art required it.)

thanks for sharing!!
