Awesome--I've got the older version of it (a Bamboo Pen & Touch) and it's made a world of difference in how well my drawings/paintings look! Do yourself a favor and give yourself time to get used to it; it's not super easy to draw while looking elsewhere, and it takes a couple weeks of practice to get that skill down well enough to not be hitting Ctrl-Z every stroke, but it's so worth it in the end.
July 1, and this will be my first experience with a stylyus and tablet...so learning curve all around! I'm excited for the challenge...really hoping I will be able to use it to journal in my own handwriting...
Awesome .... I've got a Bamboo as well and don't know what I did without it ...there is a learning curve so don't get discouraged if things don't look the way you want them to at first ... it's practice practice practice but once your hand/eye/brain are connected to what's needed on the tablet ... you will join the club
I am on my 3rd Intuos Pro and I love it now, but it took me a long time to feel comfortable with it. It took a lot of practice and I kind of had to force myself because I just wanted to use my mouse, but now I can't imagine doing anything precise with a mouse. The other issue I have had with Wacom is that their software can be a little flaky. But all in all, it's just such a great tool for digital artists.
Tina, I definitely need to start making myself use it. I've had it for 6 mos, and have barely touched it because it feels so clumsy for me...but I guess I just need to attack it and not give up!

And Happy birthday, whenever it is!

Thanks for the insight, Tina.
