Is there and online free tool/software for scrapbooking?

Hello there,

I'm new to the whole digital scrapbooking thing, but I'm very excited about it.
As I was telling a fellow teacher, here in Brazil, about DS, she also got really interested in it and is intending to get the children of her Arts class working with it. The problem is we can download any software to the school computers, so, if you know, can you please give us a clue on what software/tool we could use online in order to give her kids this opportunity??

Cheers

The only two that I know of are Studio J by Close to My Heart (CTMH) and CropMom. Here are links so you can check them out to see if it will work for a classroom environment.

Gimp is a free program similar to Photoshop, although I haven't used it: http://www.gimp.org/

PhotoPlus and older version is offered for free to use as long as you like.
And Craft Artist - a light version of their full version of Craft Artist.

hi,
you can also download for free one of the first version of photoshop on adobe site (http://gizmodo.com/5973730/grab-photoshop-and-cs2-for-absolutely-free-right-here).

you could also use Mixbook, it's online (web-app), and you have to choose a size book/card/calendar ahead of time, so there are limits, but you can upload your own "stickers" so any .png file should work smiley

I have used Serif's Craft Artist. It is easy to use and they have some free kits to get you started.
