ISO: "Back to School" Color Palette

I am looking for a good, bold (but not too bright) back to school color palette (not too many colors)! All suggestions welcome! Thanks!

Crayola basic 8-crayon set, plus white, would be my choice. Plenty bold, covers all the basics, and should be good for any elements you want to make.

You could also go with off-white, a tan, a brown, black, a red, a teal, a navy, and small doses of a bolder yellow if you wanted to do an all-ages back to school kit. I'll see if I can slap some paint together in ArtRage for a palette on that.

[Edit: Done. I added an optional skin tone, and a few simple font ideas, as well as gamut-checked the random colors I picked in ArtRage.

I think this could make a really cute kit for littler ones and still have enough slightly more muted things to appeal for mom going back to school for a master's, too. What do you think?]

Primary colors...or happy colors like Holly posted. You don't want them to be too overpowering...but stick with colors slightly muted I think.

I like it! I'll use it - am hoping for some time to throw something together now! LOL! Thanks, Holly!

You're welcome--I wasn't sure you'd like it, with that many neutrals, but I wanted to give the option for a skin tone or two in case you wanted to add characters, or some more "adult student" elements. But it's a solid palette that should work all around if the paper variety is wide enough. smiley

Oh, yes! Items are now beginning to show in the Commons for it! smiley

I took a look--looks like that palette is working out really well! smiley
