I don't have any of those fancy plug-ins yet... Down the road maybe. I'd love to make some glass & metal elements. But it's above my level right now...
With Eye Candy, it wouldn't be "above your level." The plug-in is extremely simple to use. It just costs a lot of money. Download the free trial and see for yourself. I never could create glass and metal effects in PSP before I got Eye Candy; PSP's version of those effects are hideous and rudimentary.
I will one of these days. I don't want to try it until I can afford it. Because if I end up liking it as much as I think I will, I will be desperate to buy it. LOL
I have Superbladepro, and those styles do look a little like that. But i have the feeling it's "easier" in photoshop. May be my mistake whihii!
SBP is pretty tough to configure just the way you want it. I use a lot of presets which does help!
Eyecandy is also amazing. Loved the trialperiod. Now waiting for that money tree to grow in the garden
@Lizanne Yep, that's the problem with trying something ... you always want to buy it then and there. lol I only repurchased it because I really didn't splurge too much on myself for Christmas; I considered it a late Christmas present to myself. In my upcoming Rustic Charm kit for the blog train, you'll see what you can do with Eye Candy.
@Soro Please tell me that you are not running Windows 8. If you are, I'm going to scream, because I cannot get SBP to work on it. I have a million presets for it, too; I used to sit for hours creating them. lol I've had it since long before I began scrapbooking. It's great for text! I just wish I could get it to work.
* i am running windows 8 * EEEk did i say that out loud?
I do have to run psp x6 in x32 mode, i cannot get sbp in x64 modus.
Does that help a little? I truely have no idea how we did it, my husband did it. *blush*
Hmm, I wonder if that's it, then. No, wait ... I can't get it to work in X5, either on Windows 8. Ugh! Maybe I'll try messing with it again next week in X7 32-bit. I still need to finish the Rustic Charm BT kit; I'll end up obsessing over SBP instead of finishing the kit by the end of the week. lol
My big "splurge" this year was Filter Forge... Now I just have to find the time to install it! (it keeps getting pushed to the backburner in favor of more pressing things)
Why haven't I heard of that plug-in? OMG, I want it! I Googled it and I'm looking through the filters. I'm laughing at "Filter Force," because I've been able to do that with PSP for years and years. Making a realistic-looking lightsaber was one of my greatest achievements. lol I'm downloading the trial version right now. Thanks a bunch! Maybe I'll hold off on buying X7, so I can get Filter Forge instead.
