ISO: wood veneer elements

Starting this post for Giada Erre and Lorien Rezende, who are both on the lookout for wood veneer elements. Please leave your finds in this post, preferably freebies, but if you're seen some pretty paid ones, feel free to post them as well!

For starters, this is right here on Pixelscrapper: https://www.digitalscrapbook.com/search/designs/Wood

ok just for those who are new to the wood veneer embellies in real life scrapping that we are referring to, I thought I'd post some samples here from paper scrapping so you'd know what we're looking for in digital. smiley

@Shawna, you are so helpful. I find myself wishing there was a "like" button so that I can like pretty much everything I see you post. Thanks for being so awesome. smiley

@Shawna: Aren´t these chipboards?

In fact, I wasn´t really looking for them, but trying to help! If you demand this, I´ll design a kit on wood just for PS users, because it´s soooo easy to do...

But why not trying doing it yourselves? Since our newest designer Sheilla Raid put these styles on her blog, I fell in love with them... they are really pretty and cool on ellies smiley

So, to make something pretty much like the camera Shawna showed, for example, you must only make a round rectangle on photoshop, rasterize and apply the first (or third) style, and add a camera to it - I think this camera would look good, but it would be better to use a stamp kind of image on it (what about this world map? or you prefere a cute little flower?)

Well, but if you want an element pack of wood veneer, I´ll get one ready for you somewhere in November, maybe as a thanksgiving gift smiley

@Lorien: TFS your great suggestions on making some embellies! smiley

Chipboard is more similar to the gray(ish) paper stuff cereal boxes are made out of just compressed & thicker in nature.
Def: (noun) 1. a low grade of cardboard, used as a backing for pads of paper, a stiffener for photographs in mailing, etc.
2. a thin, stiff sheet material made from wastepaper.

Wood veneer is actually wood (like from a tree) but veneer by definition is thin layers glued together.
Def: (noun) 1. a thin layer of wood or other material for facing or inlaying wood.
2. any of the thin layers of wood glued together to form plywood.

Here's a couple pics of plain chipboard for reference:

Of course in real life SB'ing, there's is all this pre-printed/designed chipboard now, like these samples:

Hope this extra information helps to clarify some more!

awww... shucks... thanks Wren for your kind words! smiley

Probably no what you are looking for, but I have these cowboy/horse/rodeo themed wooden elements.

Michele: Being born and bred in TX myself. I must go quickly "round-up" your rodeo elements!!! THX!!! smiley
