Tip For Using Templates

I have a little tip for using templates. If you have a portrait photo and find most of your templates are for landscape photos, you can rotate the template to make it accomodate your photo! Not all templates lend themselves to this depending on some elements used ...eg ribbons flowing the wrong way lol ...but it gives you a whole new scope for your templates. You can also do it for portrait photo layouts that you want as landscape ones too. ...you just doubled the number of templates in your stash!

Great tip Janae! I read this article a couple weeks ago, which was a reminder of something I had read a few years ago, but sometimes doesn't always come to mind when you are looking for the perfect template to use. Great Reminder to extend our template stash by 7 times more. smiley

In her article are these two photos of the samples she used it in.
the original:

the varieties of flipping and rotating: (remember when you do this tho lock all layers together before flipping them, then remember to unlock them to use the template again)
700x

omg Shawna thank you! I never thought of that! You just opened up 6 more worlds for me with all those other rotations!

YW... that's why i love using templates so many options! smiley

thanks for the tip Janae!!
