View Print Size

Hi I was just wondering what the difference is between "view actual pixels" and "view print size" I am always inclined to adjust my textures on papers to the "actual pixel size" however, the "print size" is completely different in appearance. So I am wondering what is the best view to assure a good print.

Thanks,

Julie

I'm not sure if this helps . . . but photo prints are usually 300 dpi (dots per inch) and home printers used to be 144 dpi and screens used to be 72 dpi (not sure if those numbers have gone up with newer technology). When you view actual pixel size, you're likely seeing screen resolution, which will definitely look different than print resolution. I'm not sure how the "view print size" works though, and how close that is to what you actually see in print . . . you may just have to do some trial and error.

Thanks hun!
