Hi Nerina !
From what I know of photofiltre, it seems to me that it's most suited to edit photos. To scrap, mosrt people use either Photoshop Elements, Photoshop (more pricey) or The Gimp (free !). There are other softwares designed specifically for scrapbookers, but they're not as wildly used and I haven't used any of them so I can't help you there.
You migh want to try out Elements, you can download a free 30 day trial from Adobe's site : http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=photoshop_elements&loc=en and see if you like it. There are lots of great tutorials here to help you start out
Nerina ... I use Photoshop Elements which is a cheaper form of Photoshop itself and it would be fine for what you want to do plus a whole lot more ... you can download a 30 day free trial on the Adobe site PSE 12 free trial
There is also Paint Shop Pro, it too is a good piece of software and I have friends that use it all the time .. it is about the same price as the Photoshop Elements program, lower at times. Paint Shop Pro free trial
Gimp is similar to Photoshop but it has a larger learning curve ... I've tried using it and went back to the Photoshop which I already knew how to use
There are others out there a well but these are the main ones I know.
Thank you for your answer Susan
Bye
Nerina
Hello there,
Thank you for your answers, I just downloaded the free trial of PaintShop Pro x6.
He'll have to familiarize myself. If I'm doing well, I would buy maybe.
see you soon

Good luck Nerina ... don't forget to check for video tutorials on line ... they are usually the best way to learn a new software program
And I should mention ... don't forget to save everything you make as tiff, png or jpeg so if you decide to change your mind and don't buy it or your time runs out you have files you can use in other programs and you don't lose all your hard work
