How do you make quick pages in Photoshop

I thought I will ask here and see how you create quick pages in Photoshop. I'm looking for the best way to do it and wondered how you create them?

I always just make the page like I would with any other page, and then save it as a .PNG. I guess the same way you would have with like the photo frame journailing cards? If you have specific questions, I have the latest PS CC (which is what you're using too, right?), and have made a few quick pages so I can help as best as I can. smiley

I was just wondering because I noticed that on some of my layouts I have restorize some of the elements and papers before I can cut out the photo space. I'm still on the trail of Photoshop CC so I'm learning it now and that definitely takes time.

Although the exact steps are for Paintshop Pro, aside from the file format mentioned being .pspimage, you can just consider them as .psd but the rest would be identical:

Hope it helps.

Ania .... when I make my QPs I will use the magic wand tool inside the frame and then simply backspace through all the layers that are showing one at a time ... only takes a couple of minutes and is accurate each and every time ... at the end I will simply save as a .png .... no need to merge anything and you can save your file as a .tiff if you want to save it as well

Ania, I just set the photo layer's Blending Options (in the layer effects dialog) to Knockout: Deep and Fill Opacity: 0%. Just make sure your background is converted to a layer so it gets knocked through too (double-click it and it'll get made into a layer). That's the simplest I've found to make a page layout I've already done into a quickpage.
