So it has been about a year since I last scrapbooked. Long story short, old computer died and took all my old files and software with it. I was using wondershare scrapbook studio. I loved that it was super simple!
Now I'm looking for new editing program but not ready to buy a program yet. Does anyone know of some free editing programs? I was looking into gimp. When I tried to download it, my mac wouldn't support it

There's Gimp for Mac or Seashore if you're looking for free. I'm personally looking into the Windows version of Affinity Photo which is a one-time $40 cost for Mac or Windows version, no subscription like Photoshop, and seems to have some incredible capabilities in the realm of editing and photocompositing.

I didn't realize that Affinity was now being produced for Windows. And a $40 cost is not bad at all!
Adobe products (Photoshop and Photoshop Elements) run on a subscription platform now, which can be good if you just want to try something out. I believe they have free trials for all their products, so you can give them a go.
It just came out of beta recently, Debra; I've been watching it for a couple of months waiting for it to be available.
You can checkout serif.com they have PhotoPlus. They have a trial version.
