For me Leslie, I never lock myself out of my car, for me it's the house. Boyfriend and I walked outside to to go for a walk and neither of us brought our keys. My younger sister had to drop by the house after work to give us her spare key (from when she used to live here). Before then dad picked me up and had us work at the shop until my sis got to us with the spare key. Believe me there were copies made after that! And now, my parents who live 1.5 miles away, we have spares of each others keys (dad periodically locks himself out of the house too, it's genetic). It seems though my dad has the best luck with locking himself out of my car when he's working on it (by accidentally locking the doors and leaving the keys inside). Last time he started to car to have it run (after he got done working on it) and accidentally clapped the door shut and it was locked, so I had to come with boyfriend, in his car to save dad from locking himself out of my running idling car (insert sad trombone here).
Just the other day I put ice cream in the cupboard. My mom found it and told me what I did. LOL
I've done this multiple times too...you'd think I'd learn after the first time!
