Font experts?

Um, what do you call the old style fonts here:

Thanks gals. smiley

Well, I´m not incuded in Experts, but I´ll give my guess:

The font for the word photograph, is probably a slab serif. Or maybe a display font? It´s also a shadowed font.

The font for notes is also a serif font. Possibly a all-caps font or it´s using a small-caps mode?

The font for "date taken" is also a serif. It´s probably considered a "modern" font, because of the different thinkness inside the characters, but I´m not really sure about it.

On the other card, the "month, year, etc" is a sans-serif font.

All of them are used in all-caps.

Soooo, calling the font experts myself: Am I right? Or I need to study more?

I have one similar to the large font .... Imprint MT shadow .... and another ... Niagara engraved ....

@Lorien
@Susan

Those are good leads. Thank you both!

I got a new one.

Anybody want to guess? Thanks in advance!

Do you want to know the font, or the type caracteristics?

If it´s the type characteristics, it´s a serif with small caps in a retro style - looks like the type on old quiet movies.

Hi Lorien. Id like to get the name too, or something similar to it. So I can use it in the same style. Thanks!

I just went looking for a font like this because it looks like those old scientific illustration labels and I love that look... Let me see if I can remember it...

Averia Serif looks similiar...

I know I had another one like it, but I can't find it at the moment. I'll keep looking and when I run across it let you know what it's called. smiley

You can throw it in What the font? - It usually gives good recomendations.

Huge Thanks Bonnie! smiley

Thanks Lorien! But it was somehow lacking. smiley

You're welcome! smiley
