Happy St Patrick's day to our Irish folk !! ...

and everybody else who celebrates ... if you celebrate what are you doing ? .... we aren't doing anything although I am wearing green but that was totally by accident lol

Why thank ya, Susan! Happy St. Patrick's day back to you! smiley We just had corned beef & cabbage (and potatoes & carrots), soda bread and Guinness. Later, once our stomachs have settled, we'll have some peach cobbler. Before the kids were born we used to go to an Irish pub to eat, listen to tunes & dance. smiley

Thanks Susan, and Happy St. Patrick's day to you as well. It's a bit rainy and cool here so we didn't get out. My husband and I agreed not to pinch each other for not wearing green and settled in to a comfy day at home.

Thanks so much. I hope you had a great St. Patrick's Day. We don't really celebrate but today is my brother's birthday and we will be having a get together for that.

Thanks so much. We spent the evening at an " Irish Pub" enjoying the food, the people and the music. We don't drink but they dyed their tea green and it was festive to drink that.

Thanks, hope all of you had a good St. Patrick's day. I usually cook an Irish stew and soda bread, and have friends in. However, my stepfather as been quite ill and I didn't feel like celebrating anything. He passed this morning at 5am. He's been my stepfather for a little over 52 years. I love him a great deal and will miss him tremendously. He really was my father period.

I hope everyone had a good St Patrick's Day smiley I made the typical corned beef and cabbage with all the fixings, something I've done every year for the last 6 or so years now.

Sally, I'm sorry to hear about your stepfather. My condolences and big hugs. smiley
