How Tall are you?

This is funny, but tonight hubby and I went to Moe's for dinner... and this teenage girl stood next to me... I felt soooooo short. She must have been 6'3" I was flabbergasted. I'm not use to seeing ladies that tall. But it made me think of our discussion here so I had to come post about it, of course. smiley

I struggled to put my height. Both in Italy and in Brazil we use meters and centimeters to express our time.
I have 1.68 m. I have a median time to the standards of my people (the Sardinians are low or too high) and also by the standards of Brazil. I do not know when it would be to the extent that you are using ... smiley

Marcela .... 1.68 meters works out to 5 feet 6 inches tall .... you are regular height for a woman smiley

Our babysitter when the boys were young was over 6 feet, so were 1 of 2 sisters and a brother ... the youngest though was just over 5 feet ... too funny. I kept asking her mom if they ran out of food before they fed her smiley.

Susan, thanks for taking the conversion !!!!
Really was scrambled with the measures.

I am among the short ladies who find high cupboards & grocery shelves a pain. smiley I'm only 5 foot yet my only brother is over 6 foot. Crazy how genes can work!

I'm 5' 4". Kind of short, but I've learned to live with it. My arms are actually longer than they should be so I can still reach most things that are up high.

I am right at 5' in my bare feet. But I wear a lot of chunky shoes and heels! I wouldn't mind being so short if I were a little thinner. When I was younger and skinnier I loved being so tiny.

I'm 5'4", and I, too, find there are a lot of things I cannot reach! My hubby is somewhere around 6' (I can't remember exactly, lol. he's taller than me; that's enough, right?) and he tends to put things at his level, NOT mine! LOL.

I keep a step ladder in the kitchen so I can reach the tops of the cabinets and sometimes I climb up on the counters, especially to clean the bathroom mirror! Grocery stores are also difficult, but there is usually someone nice around to help - unless I am at Wal-Mart and then I tend to climb just a little. When my hubby was in the USMC and we shopped at the Commissary, I think the other Marines in the store got a kick out of me asking them to fetch things off the top shelves. LOL.

I've always wished I was taller. My sister is taller than me by a few inches. But, my hubby thinks my height is cute and jokes that I come in "compact size", which is fine by me. Being short meant that when I was wild and crazy in high school, I could get away with wearing shorter skirts than other girls and still adhering to the fingetip-length dress codes. lol. >:D

I have been 5'6" (171 cm) since my early teens, I was considered tall for a woman back when I lived in Brazil, here in Canada, not so much smiley

I used to be 5' 2 3/4" until the genetic degenerative spinal disease decided to finally let loose (It can show up at any age) eight years ago. I actually was just measured at the doctor's office two weeks ago and, unfortunately, I'm still shrinking. smiley I'm down to 5' 1" now.

I'm 5'2" but I tell people I'm 5"7" but I hide it very well....LOL
You should see the looks I get... Then they finally catch on to the joke...

Just a little taller than Marcella Cocco - 1.7 meters which is about 5'6". I'm taller than most of my girl friends. And wider. But kit bashing (aka taking bits of the sides and putting them on top) isn't an option, as my DH (5'9") likes it when I look up to him... smiley
