I just wanted to tell you all, that i'm still here, but just need a break.
My mom (82 years) is sick and i need to be with her. (breast cancer)
Of course i'll be back, but I just need some time with my mother.

Hi all.
A little update from me.
My mom past away saturday. Even though i'm sad, i feel glad that it wasn't the breast cancer. She was old and it's ok to be old.
It would be harder to loose my mom to breast cancer. (She only had Medicine for 2 month and it was under control)
So now she is in peace, no pain, no worrys and she was so beautiful when she closed her eyes and just stopped breathing. The whole family where at her side. I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful way to say goodbuy to my beloved mom.
Now i just need some time to learn how to live without thinking if mom is ok. I'll be back soon.
Lilian - Sad to hear you have lost your mom, but you had a beautiful goodbye. I, too, had this experience when my mother passed after a long and hard battle with cancer. Beauty and peace in the end is a gift. Best wishes to you as you adjust. We look forward to seeing you soon here on the forum.

oh Lilian, I am just seeing this. I had been dealing with taking care of my own mom only 72 since mid Feb. I am so very sorry for your loss. I still remember in Nov 2012 at Thanksgiving getting the call about my husbands dad passing at 3am. He had sort of become like a father to me having been with my husbands family so long and my daddy left when I was 9 yo. I still miss him. I know my husband surely does (their mom passed away about a week later just 2 days after her husband's funeral). I know it never goes away but I pray God brings you peace and comfort and that all the great memories swell up in your heart big as you think about her and that in time it will not hurt as bad.
