Other kinds of artists here?

Just wondered how many other mediums of artists might be here.

To clarify, I also draw, and create digital art and paintings, as well as some photography, and have an art gallery
with some of my work both for show and for sale online.

I just wondered if there were others here stretching their wings as well.

Here is a link to my gallery

Angela ... I too work in other mediums .... paint, cloth and fibers, mixed medium ... don't have anything in a gallery but have never had the want to try, I'm too much of a rebel to go in that direction although I have many friends who do. I signed up for Life Book 2015 this year with Tamara Laporte to get back into the painting and finding I have to start over in a lot of ways but that makes it interesting smiley I for one would like a link to your work, congrats on the show. My blog: Cotton Arts Boutique

Thanks for posting your link Susan, love your blog. smiley

I have edited my post with my gallery link smiley

Basically if it is creative in any way, I do it smiley)

Awesome Michele, do have any links to share, or a blog

I´ve done several arts and crafts through my life. I even tried to make a J-pop cover band (teenagers... o.O). These days I´m venturing into mixed media and digital illustration.

I love creating small magnets and wine charms, but I also LOVE making party decor. I'm make sewn paper garlands, fabric buntings, cupcake toppers, cake toppers, and hand-cut confetti!

Yes i spent half my life as a performer, and involved in the music industry, but now I am a different kind of artist smiley

Jennifer, would love to see some of your charms etc... got a web link

I draw, I paint with acrylics and watercolor, I create decorations for my home, I do pocket letters, glam planning and finally digital art. I also do some stick and poke tattoos. Every Halloween I make my own costume. I used to be part of a drama troup and I kinda play music (piano, guitar, ukulele). I've also been in a school orchestra for 2 years playing the clarinet and the western concert flute. I also did a lot of writing in my past. smiley

I'm a huge cross stitch junkie lol.

I love working with needlecrafts...I am very happy stitching by hand. It can be cross stitch, blackwork, embroidery, etc. My ultimate favorite thing to stitch are samplers & reproductions.

I do all kinds of stuff, I'm into creating 24/7 whether it's cooking and baking, crocheting, knitting, painting, drawing, writing of all kinds, photography, jewelry making of multiple kinds... Basically I dabble in a little bit of everything!

Im a huge diy-er! I love crafting with wood, painting, digital invite and other party gear, photography, floral, vinyl and more!! smiley

I am the kind of girl who is all over the place with her style.
I draw by hand, but mostly on my PC in Adobe Illustrator.

I am so your creative sista! LOL!

Hi, I am new here. I have a few digital layouts but what I do most often is card-making, water colors and mixed media canvas. I love to create hybrid cards, a blending of paper (hands-on) crafting and digital papers and elements. My blog addres is: http://patacakespages.blogspot.com and I put all my art out there LOL

Here's what I did with my avatar photo, a water color digitally mastered with elements from DigitalScrapbook.com

I love the collective here. You guys are so talented! I was a landscape architect before I chose to take the stay-at-home route.

I like to try my hand at anything, but the one handcraft I became addicted to is Pergamano. If you haven't heard of this before, do a search online. It's just beautiful. Mostly I like to do lace and whitework. Very time consuming but well worth the results.

Photographer, Graphic Creations (signature tags/pixel art), drawing, various crafts (crochet, traditional scrapbook, card making/rubber stamping, jewelry making, cross-stitch, plastic canvas items, tole painting, maybe a few other things).

I used to draw pretty well when I was younger but years of not practicing has left my skills severely lacking. I can barely draw a tree these days!

I do love getting crazy with my acrylics. I make greeting cards when I can be bothered (time to plan for Christmas, methinks) and I do a lot of DIY toys for my boys. At the moment I'm painting wooden peg dolls. I have no idea what I'm doing but I'm having a heck of a lot of fun!

I'll take a shot at pretty much anything if it looks fun, useful or pretty. Pinterest is one of my favourite places to be.

One of these days I might ask my mum to teach me to crochet and get some sewing lessons from my mother-in-law.

I design digital/printable greeting card fronts that you layer for a 3d look at http://www.craftsuprint.com/2123-sonja-nelson/

Sonja I also design for http://www.craftsuprint.com/2317-angela-hobbs/

but must admit stock is low, because I have a hard time understand their
templates, etc... I have made resource kits, and will probably make more, but the
card creating itself simply eludes my understanding smiley

Really great to meet someone else from CUP! I am addicted... I love designing a card and then seeing someone else make it up and upload the photo of the card they made.

smiley Same here.... I really must make some new kits for them soon.
I like the designs you have there... good stuff!

Yes! I am first a photographer - I have an online portfolio here - second, a dabbling graphic designer, and third a newbie handletterer! I combine photography, type & graphics to make unique art prints & sell them in my Society6 shop, MAMI Design Co!

I design invitations and party decor, but it's very close to digiscrapping! While it's not my favorite, I sew for my husbands cosplays and our family halloween costumes, or stockings, or whatever comes up that we want but can't find. I'm super envious of you that can do the traditional art route. I always start to but feel inadequate, which is why I'm all digital! I feel like a fish out of water in most other mediums!
