My favorite restaurant is El Toro, a Mexican restaurant. I am totally in love with their cheese nachos. Sadly, I can't eat there due to health issues. It's been more than a year since I have been there. My new favorite that I can eat at is Panera. I love their chicken salad, but I have to get it without the bread.

One of my favorite restaurants to go to is called Rizzo's here in Johnstown Pa. Another is called Leo's out in Mt. Pleasant Pa.

I love the Olive Garden but the closest one to me is 3 hours away smiley
But other then that, I like anyplace that has a good stake.

Lynn Winters, we have a Panera here, but I have never been to it. I see the commercials on TV and know that I'll end up trying it before long.

Shauna Anderson, we have an Olive Garden here as well and I have eaten there several times. Their salads are to die for.

I'm a southern girl from Cajun Country who loves seafood, and hubby is from Michigan and is a steak and potatoes man. I don't cook seafood at home because hubby doesn't care for it, so I get it when we eat out every chance I get. We have a Long Horn Steakhouse here and he loves their steaks. I must say, I DO love their filet mignon! We also have an Outback Steakhouse and their food is very good as well. I also love Greek, and hubby doesn't. But we do compromise on Chinese and Mexican food, which we both love.

A Walk-Ons just opened in our area and their food is very good. If you like bread pudding, they serve a Krispy Kreme Bread Pudding that tastes exactly like the Krispy Kreme doughnuts of old, hot and fresh out of the oven. The waitresses tell me they really do make it with Krispy Kreme doughnuts.

Golden Corral and a little hometown buffet place called "Hooks Diner" They have some of the most yummy things on their homestyle buffett!

I don't have a favorite. We rarely go out to a 'sit down' place to eat. I prefer it that way as people always gawk and stare.
I do like Olive Garden and Outback Steakhouse, and I love the Chinese restaurant around the corner.
If money wasn't so tight, Red Lobster would be part of my top 4.

I'm a Filipino but I always love eating Korean food. Bibimbap is my comfort food when I'm feeling down. We have lots of korean restaurants here and my favourite is called Solga.

@April may I ask what is Bibimbap? I've never heard of this... I have a Filipino girlfriend since college days but I never heard her talk about it.

Bibimbap is a rice dish from Korea. They usually serve it in a stone bowl. When we lived in Korea the province we were in was famous for bibimbap. It's honestly not one of my favorite Korean dishes, but it's a popular one. If there's a Korean restaurant near you, there's a good chance they serve it.

We have a BBQ place called "Fine Swine" in New Baden, IL. I am gluten-intolerant so it is hard for me to eat a lot when we go out so BBQ works great!

Mine is a little Italian restaurant just outside of Edinburgh its always busy but friendly. They never forget a customer when you walk in even if it has been months since you where last there smiley

If it I had to make a choice (that is hard for i love food, period!) I would have to say Red lobster and that is purely for their Cheddar Bay Biscuits! I love those things!!

Mine is Mexican Food. (Platillo's - Harlingen, TX) Not your heavy "up North" kind but the light fresh kind. Awesome salsa and fresh, warm chips. Handmade tortillas fresh off the heat. Street tacos are also one of my favourites

Hmm.. I have to pick just one?!?! I love Metro Diner in Jacksonville, FL. We saw it on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives and when we made a trip to Savannah, GA we stopped in on our way. It's amazing! It's now our must stop place when we head out of Florida north. We love it so much, we stopped for breakfast on the way up to NC and for lunch on the way home. Definitely one of our favorite places.

One of my favorites is Pepe's Bar & Grill in Manchester, Connecticut. Excellent pizza and other Italian food.

MY favorite restaurant is any that mean I don't have to cook!!! But we really like Ruby Tuesday except they have closed all but one in our area. smiley

I like eating at Denny's.

Hi all Gourmets,

my husband is a 5-star cooking chief for me. Only with him I get goose bumps when the plate is filled. But he should also have a day free of cooking, so we go once a week in the vicinity in a German restaurant that brews its own beer and in which there is good German (Bavaria, Allgäu, Alsace) cuisine, but also Asian rice dishes, because he has Cambodian staff. Also the beer garden is somewhat protected in the greenery and yet close to an access road. Friendly, fast staff ( not frequent change) even the boss comes times to talk to the guests. After 2 years C. he has now opened again. 1x monthly. we go on Sunday to the nearby Greek (next to a bird park and allotments) there we like to eat grilled liver. The host couple was once our former neighbor. Also there is always a "chat". We love it cozy.

In town we had an Italian restaurant that we liked to visit when we were shopping, but there were not only pizzas, but also other delicious Italian dishes. Dishes and large salad plates with hot turkey or shrimp u. predominantly charming staff. Unfortunately it has closed due to C. Now there is a Vietnamese in it, as I read in the newspaper,

For those that like Olive Garden, have you heard of Carraba's? They have great calamari!

For my birthday, I always choose Red Robin, I get the Whiskey River BBQ Chicken Wrap. I miss when they used to have their Club sandwich (it was back in the 90's) and their chocolate peanut butter shake, it came with a nutter butter cookie. My second favorite, would probably be Culver's.

Typically, we like to stick to local (and some smaller chain) restaurants.

I love Red Robin!

The Varsity in Atlanta Georgia can't be beat in my eyes. It has always been a treat for us to go there since I was a kid. Now that I live 350 miles away I only get it when I visit with family. Another favorite is Waffle House!
