I’m level1 in the commons, but I don’t understand how the weekly limit works. If i upload my 10 graphics on different days, does it reset a week from the first or last graphic I upload?
I'll try to give a breakdown that's not too confusing of this.
The system simply won't let you upload more than your limit in any given 7 day time period. So it's not setup to reset every Sunday or anything, but rather, on any given day (or at any given moment) when you upload, it counts back 7 days and sees how many graphics you have uploaded, and how many more you can at that given time. Does that make sense?
So, today being Monday, if this last week looked like: 3 uploads last Tuesday, none on Wednesday, 1 on Thursday, 2 on Friday, none on Saturday, and 2 yesterday, then that would be a total of 8 in the last 7 days, so you can upload 2 today. Then tomorrow, if you uploaded those 3 last Tuesday at, say 4 PM, then tomorrow once 4:01 PM rolls around you could upload another 3.
Does that make sense?
I know that maybe feels more convoluted than necessary, but it's how the current system operates. That's why we'd recommend if possible uploading all your graphics on one or two specific days usually, so that you easily know when and how many more you can upload.
I believe it is from the time that you hit 10 uploads, so at the time and date that the 10th item is uploaded, it starts the 7 day clock..
Someone correct me if that is wrong.
That would make it a week break not 10 a week though? Wouldnt it be simpler to reset every sunday or something?
