yes, i know it's alot like photoshop, but some of the filters work differently, making it hard for some beginers, such as myself, to understand how to transfer photoshop tutorials to Gimp. I feel it would be benefical seeing how Gimp is a free and popular program to have a Gimp area. Sorry about the typos, I'm ill at the moment.
