Nichole, you just need some grungy brushes and a color palette you want to work with... Then just create stacked layers for each color, move them around to your liking, and adjust opacities until you get your desired effect!

Description

Created for the designer challenge of the same name, Black, White, and Read All Over uses a palette of black, white, newsprint, a neutral tan, navy, and a light turquoise. I chose to use the same colors as I used for my portion of the March 2017 "In the Pocket" blog train for additional flexibility in use.

This was a LOT of fun to make, and I think you'll find it works well on its own or in combination!
