About Me

My name is Jessica but you can call me Jessi or Jess if you prefer! I'm happily married to my best friend for over 22 years! We have one child who left the nest, and 3 children still at home. I've been homeschooling for 18 years now and still going. Our home here in Kentucky is also home to a dog, several cats as well as a nice flock of chickens! 🐓 Technically it's also home to pesky moles, cute squirrels, bunnies, as well as deer, woodchucks & turkeys that apparently pass thru from time to time.

Over the years my digital hobbies tend to become my job. My first digital hobby was web design, and later found myself as a web designer/web developer. I took a break from that and as a hobby began digital scrapbooking. I got involved in making things for the blog trains several years back and that was the catalyst for where I am today. I am still very humbled that Marisa asked me to be part of Pixel Scrapper! I still enjoy making and sharing freebies for blog trains as well as creating layouts when I get the time. Besides being passionate about history, I also really love photography, genealogy, and archaeology. Well I also love cozy things like forests, Autumn, foxes, blankets, fuzzy socks, snow & coffee!! ☕
