'The Curio Pantry' is what I design under. If you are not familiar with my designs they are a bit eclectic, mostly elegant & vintage inspired designs with a little cuteness here and there. I dabble with hand drawing so at times you may see some of that worked into kits.

So despite having been sick all this month I was determined to get this little surprise party pushed out for my hubby. He had to go to a work conference and he absolutely hates going to Las Vegas. He really couldn't wait to be back home. So I downloaded a few things from DigitalScrapbook.com, shown below, and put this together. I already had most everything either in my cupboard or leftover from other parties. A $1 bottle of Sprite was all I needed buy besides the pizza. Altho I messed up the first batch of frosting so I'm glad I had bought an extra bag of sugar and box of butter too. All in all it only took a couple of days to put together.
My 14 year old was a huge help! He helped me arrange and bake everything. We made caramel corn, which went into the goodie bags, gluten free cake with buttercream frosting and gluten free red velvet cheesecake brownies. We also adjusted this orange punch using an orange ice cream, orange juice, pineapple juice and sprite.
Cake Banner - I overlayed text onto two banners. When cutting out I just left a margin on top of each pendant, put the string thru and then folded the margin over to tape to the back with masking tape. Cups - I cut out the flowers and glued pink and gold sequins to the middle where the button was. Also I had a cup wrapper template, clipped the striped gold paper onto it. Home Hearts - I created heart shapes and collected a bunch of "Home" related quotes or sayings. I clipped the map paper onto them with the text. I printed it and then ran it back thru to print the back with map paper. Confetti - After cutting out the hearts I took the rest of the map paper bits and used my hole punch on it for confetti. Also took my teal glitter washi tape, folded it over on itself and used the hole punch for some glittery confetti. Goodie Bags - [The idea here] I created the tie shape, clipped the map paper onto them and then cut them out. I followed the instructions at the site for the bags and then used the glittery washi tape pieces to close them.
