About Me
I started using Photoshop in 2009 and quickly got discouraged because the program is so large and lots to learn. It didn't help that my mom was ill at the time so my attention was in deficit. Throughout the following years up until 2012, I would go in and play with it, off and on and learn some new things.
2012 comes along and throws all kinds of angst in my way. I lost my mom, the cat I rescued from the nursing home she was in, was diagnosed with large cell lymphoma. My world was thrown into turmoil. There was nothing I could do to get my mom back but I was determined not to lose the very young cat that was put into my path to ease my loss. He went through chemo treatments from March 2013 through September 2013 when he was given a clean bill of health and in remission. It is now April 2014 and my boy seems to be doing well with an upcoming ultrasound which will let me know how he is.
Needless to say, during this time of worrying about him and nursing him to eat and get through this, I had a whole lot of time on my hands to fill while waiting for a good outcome. I turned back to Photoshop to occupy my mind and voila, here I am today very much addicted to all Photoshop and Scrapbooking.
Thanks for reading and happy scrapping!!!

I've had this "meow" cat frame for many years now with the original photo it came with (some cat) and knew it was time to put a photo in there (4X6). Procrastination, plus I never knew which cat I wanted to stick in there.
I decided to try my hand at art scrapping since I've never really done it before and use Harlee's photos since he is such a beautiful mess. I particularly love the photo of him taking a dust bath and the one of him sleeping in his bed with his paw over his eyes.
It took me all day to play with this. To me, it's harder than it looks. I decided I liked this well enough to print out and stick in that frame but I think for now, I will stick with traditional scrapping with lots of practice at the other. The frame is black & white which works well with the photo colors. Finally a photo in the frame.
I've used quite a few products from PS and a few others.

The background newspaper pieces used were from Janet Scott also but I couldn't remember which bundle.

Interesting thought, I won’t argue that sometimes it can be useful, but in general I am against it. If you’ve put things off until later once or twice in your life, you’re not alone. Of the 1,000 adults in the UK, 84% admit they are procrastinating. I was always interested in the question why people like to postpone their affairs for later. Recently I was lucky to find a very interesting article on the site https://www.theinspirationedit.com/how-procrastination-affects-everyday-life/ which discusses this issue in detail. Nothing helps to avoid the clutter of a project like a lack of time. Now I understand how procrastination affects our daily life, it influences decision making and makes us feel lazy or inadequate.
Awww, thanks Jessica!! You have no idea how uncomfortable I was doing this. :D
It does look fantastic! :) I agree with Paddy - this does not look like your first time doing this style. Great job! Love the colors too!
Wow, thanks ladies. I didn't expect anyone to be commenting on this. It was quite painful for me to do it but I guess maybe I can push my own limits to challenge myself. Thanks for looking and the encouraging comments.
Love the BG and the artsy feel. Keep this up, Judy!
