About Me
I started using Photoshop in 2009 and quickly got discouraged because the program is so large and lots to learn. It didn't help that my mom was ill at the time so my attention was in deficit. Throughout the following years up until 2012, I would go in and play with it, off and on and learn some new things.
2012 comes along and throws all kinds of angst in my way. I lost my mom, the cat I rescued from the nursing home she was in, was diagnosed with large cell lymphoma. My world was thrown into turmoil. There was nothing I could do to get my mom back but I was determined not to lose the very young cat that was put into my path to ease my loss. He went through chemo treatments from March 2013 through September 2013 when he was given a clean bill of health and in remission. It is now April 2014 and my boy seems to be doing well with an upcoming ultrasound which will let me know how he is.
Needless to say, during this time of worrying about him and nursing him to eat and get through this, I had a whole lot of time on my hands to fill while waiting for a good outcome. I turned back to Photoshop to occupy my mind and voila, here I am today very much addicted to all Photoshop and Scrapbooking.
Thanks for reading and happy scrapping!!!

Digital Scrapbook LayoutDescription
We always celebrated Christmas Eve as a family when I was young but also Christmas day. Now that I'm older, we still keep the eve tradition with my family and then I do my in-laws on Christmas day. The photos are Niki, Danielle and my loving mom whom I miss terribly. Special guest is Jay Jay, my sister's cat who has an identical brother Bubba.
I used Janet Scott's portion of "Nutcracker" https://www.digitalscrapbook.com/janet-scott/kits/the-nutcracker-mini-kit-kit-christmas-winter-ballet-dance-december-blog-train-red
No template and I made the trees. Yay!!

Thanks ladies. Julie, I wanted to use more of your kit but didn't want to get carried away. lol You know me with papers and elements. I'm pretty proud of those trees, I really like how they turned out.
Great tradition. Love the layout.
I love the trees!
LOVE the trees! And you made my day using part of my kit. :-0) Cute layout in and of itself, but it really draws attention to the photos, which for me, is what it's all about. You rock.
