About Me
I started using Photoshop in 2009 and quickly got discouraged because the program is so large and lots to learn. It didn't help that my mom was ill at the time so my attention was in deficit. Throughout the following years up until 2012, I would go in and play with it, off and on and learn some new things.
2012 comes along and throws all kinds of angst in my way. I lost my mom, the cat I rescued from the nursing home she was in, was diagnosed with large cell lymphoma. My world was thrown into turmoil. There was nothing I could do to get my mom back but I was determined not to lose the very young cat that was put into my path to ease my loss. He went through chemo treatments from March 2013 through September 2013 when he was given a clean bill of health and in remission. It is now April 2014 and my boy seems to be doing well with an upcoming ultrasound which will let me know how he is.
Needless to say, during this time of worrying about him and nursing him to eat and get through this, I had a whole lot of time on my hands to fill while waiting for a good outcome. I turned back to Photoshop to occupy my mind and voila, here I am today very much addicted to all Photoshop and Scrapbooking.
Thanks for reading and happy scrapping!!!

איזה פריסה, איזה צבעים!!!
Thanks Judy
Thank you Gayle and Shiri. Gayle, there are probably many ways of doing the split photo thing. I don't know what program you use but my way of doing this was to use the magic wand to select all three spots for the photo. With the photo above the selection, make sure the photo layer is selected and then hit Ctrl J. This creates a copy of the photo split. Hope this helps.
This is a happy, loving layout with the lovely multiple photos backed by the colorful pattern mix of the angled papers. Very nice design touch with the split-photo technique. Truly beautiful.
Great idea of splitting photo, I'm going to try it myself when I work out how to do it....
Thank you Amy and Nancy. I'm scrapping like a maniac right now to get books done for my siblings for Christmas. @Nancy, the reason I spread those photos out over a couple of boxes was because I wanted more of the photos to show but then thought it looked more interesting. Resizing the photo wasn't cutting it for me and I'm glad it didn't work that way because I really like the split photos myself.
I really like how you spread the photos over a couple of boxes! That really changed up the look of the layout. I also love all the stacking that you did. Lovely!
cute!
