About Me
I started using Photoshop in 2009 and quickly got discouraged because the program is so large and lots to learn. It didn't help that my mom was ill at the time so my attention was in deficit. Throughout the following years up until 2012, I would go in and play with it, off and on and learn some new things.
2012 comes along and throws all kinds of angst in my way. I lost my mom, the cat I rescued from the nursing home she was in, was diagnosed with large cell lymphoma. My world was thrown into turmoil. There was nothing I could do to get my mom back but I was determined not to lose the very young cat that was put into my path to ease my loss. He went through chemo treatments from March 2013 through September 2013 when he was given a clean bill of health and in remission. It is now April 2014 and my boy seems to be doing well with an upcoming ultrasound which will let me know how he is.
Needless to say, during this time of worrying about him and nursing him to eat and get through this, I had a whole lot of time on my hands to fill while waiting for a good outcome. I turned back to Photoshop to occupy my mind and voila, here I am today very much addicted to all Photoshop and Scrapbooking.
Thanks for reading and happy scrapping!!!

Thanks much Sara. Those are not my decorations. I got the photos from Pixabay and thought they would work well with this layout.
Perfect use of the Jolly Bundle, I love how you have captured some of your favorite decorations and highlighted them. Great job!
Thank you very much Ania and Paddy. Paddy, I'm not sure how I did it either. ;) I know that I will try different papers and if they don't work, I'll try other ones. I'm sure you do the same on your layouts that are coordinated so well.
well, for this i gotta praise you! i don't know how you did it, but this huge bunch of patterned papers & colorful elements really work well together!
great page Judy. I love the layering on this page. Very creative pictures.
Thank you so very much Julie. What a very nice compliment coming from someone who designs and does beautiful layouts. I've never seen any of your layouts look like something was spilled on them. As I'm doing my layouts, I always wonder if I put too much on them since I love the elements and the papers in kits and want to use them all. haha It's nice to hear that I don't overdo it. Thank you again! :)
Super love. You have such a great eye for design. And you do a great job of showing off all the elements in a kit. When I try to use a ton of things, it looks like I spilled something all over my page. :-)
