A Girl, A Dog, A Slice of Life
I'm a freelance editor, writer and photographer. I picked up cardmaking as an art hobby more than 25 years ago. That led to scrapbooking, but really took off when digital scrapbooking software started popping up on the market. It dovetailed well with my career and has sparked an interest in developing skills as a graphic designer. You all are so talented; you inspire me! I live in the beautiful state of Montana where I work from home. My get-out-of-the-house job is working part-time running exercise classes at a local weight-loss center. I love sports, flyfishing, cardmaking, gardening, and walking my favorite beagle. My goal is to become better at making digital content rather than using what others have created so I can give back to this wonderful community of scrapbookers.
Even though my daughter has grown up and is living on her own, she wanted to come and say goodbye to our dog. He had grown so weak from cancer that he could hardly hold his head up, and we had to put him down. We brought him home as a puppy when she was in 8th grade (large picture), and though we were smiling in one of the photos, we were crying inside. Our animals have always been a part of our family and have brought much joy into our lives. I used a SBC template designed by Cindy Schneider at Sweet Shoppe Designs, http://www.sweetshoppedesigns.com
