I'm a freelance editor, writer and photographer. I picked up cardmaking as an art hobby more than 25 years ago. That led to scrapbooking, but really took off when digital scrapbooking software started popping up on the market. It dovetailed well with my career and has sparked an interest in developing skills as a graphic designer. You all are so talented; you inspire me! I live in the beautiful state of Montana where I work from home and volunteer for a local non-profit called the Dylan Steigers Concussion Project. Besides a passion for photography, I love sports, flyfishing, cardmaking, gardening, and walking my favorite beagle. My goal is to become better at making digital content rather than using what others have created so I can give back to this wonderful community of scrapbookers.
After getting my Christmas decos put away, I was inspired to work on elements for the upcoming February Blog Train already! All elements except for the twine bow (PS-Sheila reid) in the layout is part of my mini-kit for the blog train. On this page is my daughter meeting her dog for the first time. She is a member of the American Brittany Rescue organization and last year adopted a Brittany, named [creatively] Brittany. My daughter renamed her "Karma," and she is as sweet as she can be.
