I'm a freelance editor, writer and photographer. I picked up cardmaking as an art hobby more than 25 years ago. That led to scrapbooking, but really took off when digital scrapbooking software started popping up on the market. It dovetailed well with my career and has sparked an interest in developing skills as a graphic designer. You all are so talented; you inspire me! I live in the beautiful state of Montana where I work from home and volunteer for a local non-profit called the Dylan Steigers Concussion Project. Besides a passion for photography, I love sports, flyfishing, cardmaking, gardening, and walking my favorite beagle. My goal is to become better at making digital content rather than using what others have created so I can give back to this wonderful community of scrapbookers.
My brother comes out every year in June during the local salmon fly hatch which is great for catching a lot of fish. As soon as he came this year, the temps dropped, the clouds came, and the rains fell. We sneaked out on Father's Day, which was also our anniversary, to the only local river that wasn't still blown out from the snowmelt and only got rained on at the end of the day. He caught the first--and only--fish of the day. I caught his reaction (if not the fish on the line). I used Karen Diamond Designs fishing graffiti, butterfly and photo frame. Gingham monogram and letters are freebies from Grannyenchanted.com.
