Karma road trip
I'm a freelance editor, writer and photographer. I picked up cardmaking as an art hobby more than 25 years ago. That led to scrapbooking, but really took off when digital scrapbooking software started popping up on the market. It dovetailed well with my career and has sparked an interest in developing skills as a graphic designer. You all are so talented; you inspire me! I live in the beautiful state of Montana where I work from home and volunteer for a local non-profit called the Dylan Steigers Concussion Project. Besides a passion for photography, I love sports, flyfishing, cardmaking, gardening, and walking my favorite beagle. My goal is to become better at making digital content rather than using what others have created so I can give back to this wonderful community of scrapbookers.
My daughter adopted a Brittany through the American Brittany Rescue Group. The dog came from Wichita Falls Texas to Montana via 19 volunteers, 1,609 miles, one overnight stop and two time zones over 26 hours (drive-time). Brittany's name became Karma, when we drove the final 5 hours to pick her up from the last volunteer driver in an ice-covered road ground blizzard. Road trip indeed! She is as sweet as can be, and has really become a velcro dog. I'd say bonding is complete, and we'd do it again in a heartbeat. I used Marisa Lerin's Road Trip Bundle (44774) for this layout. Layout #9/8 for the SLM July 2014.
