About Me
I'm a freelance editor, writer and photographer. I picked up cardmaking as an art hobby more than 25 years ago. That led to scrapbooking, but really took off when digital scrapbooking software started popping up on the market. Thanks to PixelScrapper, I have honed my design skills and do some small design jobs for hire, along with my regular editing and writing. I live in the beautiful state of Montana where I work from home and volunteer for a local non-profit called the Dylan Steigers Concussion Project. I also teach water aerobics at our local Women's Club. (Otherwise, I might sit on the couch all day designing!). Besides a passion for photography, I love sports, flyfishing, cardmaking, gardening, and walking. My goal is to try to learn a new technique or enhance existing ones every month so I can give back to this wonderful community of scrapbookers through the PS blog trains.

Digital Scrapbook LayoutDescription
Last year while packing up our Christmas decorations, l was reminiscing about my childhood decorations and couldn't remember that many in detail--"Sometimers Disease," no doubt, but we didn't take photos then like we do now, so I thought I better take some photos of ours to capture these photos for our girls before those memories (or I!!!!) fade... and this is just a few. I'll probably do another layout. For this page, I used a template from pack #79 from AK Designs at Scraps n Pieces.com with papers and elements from Kimeric Kreations' Christmas in the Country collection at the Digichick: http://www.thedigichick.com/shop/Christmas-in-the-Country-collection.html

These decorations are just too cute and I LOVE this layout you created to show them off.
I have started taking pictures of all our ornaments to print and put with why it is special to us just to have if they get broken.
I really like the round photos on this layout.
