About Me
I'm a freelance editor, writer and photographer. I picked up cardmaking as an art hobby more than 25 years ago. That led to scrapbooking, but really took off when digital scrapbooking software started popping up on the market. Thanks to PixelScrapper, I have honed my design skills and do some small design jobs for hire, along with my regular editing and writing. I live in the beautiful state of Montana where I work from home and volunteer for a local non-profit called the Dylan Steigers Concussion Project. I also teach water aerobics at our local Women's Club. (Otherwise, I might sit on the couch all day designing!). Besides a passion for photography, I love sports, flyfishing, cardmaking, gardening, and walking. My goal is to try to learn a new technique or enhance existing ones every month so I can give back to this wonderful community of scrapbookers through the PS blog trains.

While working on this page, my oldest daughter stopped by for a short visit on her way to work. I laughed as I was putting these photos on the page, then apologized for getting her and her sister "ugly-contest-worthy-pajamas" for all those years growing up and that I hoped they didn't have any lasting trauma from it. We both had a good giggle. (She assured me she hadn't...) And that's where the title and the journaling came from. I started this page just using papers and elements I created for the December Nutcracker blog train, then saw the blog train challenge in the forums...so I added a variety of elements to enhance it. Thank you to all the designers who participated, and specifically to these designers whose elements I used in this LO: brandiwhitedesigns.blogspot.com; Digieyescraps; meohmygraphics.blogspot.com; Brandi's Creations; themagnoliapatch.blogspot.com; Isabell Hauck at isasplace.de/; and Marisa Lerin. (I hope I didn't miss anyone!) It is a great mega kit, eh?

Cute!
Julie, this is awesome! Love the tree mask and the stacked papers. We had Christmas at my sister's house one year and we were all wearing pajamas. It was kind of fun actually so I think your girls are not scarred at all. They actually look very happy and what pretty girls they are. :)
