About Me
I'm a freelance editor, writer and photographer. I picked up cardmaking as an art hobby more than 25 years ago. That led to scrapbooking, but really took off when digital scrapbooking software started popping up on the market. Thanks to PixelScrapper, I have honed my design skills and do some small design jobs for hire, along with my regular editing and writing. I live in the beautiful state of Montana where I work from home and volunteer for a local non-profit called the Dylan Steigers Concussion Project. I also teach water aerobics at our local Women's Club. (Otherwise, I might sit on the couch all day designing!). Besides a passion for photography, I love sports, flyfishing, cardmaking, gardening, and walking. My goal is to try to learn a new technique or enhance existing ones every month so I can give back to this wonderful community of scrapbookers through the PS blog trains.

This layout is for the May Layout Challenge using the art of Sandra Fettingis as inspiration. The diamond shapes she used reminded me of these photos I took of my oldest daughter playing softball when she was in 4th grade. I was afraid these were lost forever on my old Mac, but I was able to get them converted. Wow, brought back memories! Background paper and fills in shapes are papers I created for the April Earth Day blog train. Metallic edging around the photos is a free style from Heather Green-- https://www.etsy.com/shop/cesstrelle, dirt splatters from Brooke Gazarek, and that awesome dirt border is from Melo Vrijhof's At the Farm dirt elements kit, both designers from right here at PixelScrapper.

This is fantastic!
What a simply perfect layout! My favorite photo is the one where the diamond hole in the fence looks like a peep hole from a front door. Like the camera was playing peek a boo with your subject.
Thank you ladies!
You're right! The diamond layout is a perfect fit for these pics! It looks great!

oooo I love how you repeated the chain link pattern in your layout!
